I don’t talk about this enough but I want Ango and Dazai as real friends again so bad. I want them to hug and cry. I want them to visit Oda’s grave together. I want Dazai to sneak into government buildings to bother Ango at work. I want Dazai to inconvenience Ango by calling him to “consult” on every other case he has and have Ango secretly happy about it. After everything they’ve been through, I want them to be besties.

sometimes you remember that dazai knew ango was a traitor from the moment ango showed them his bag. he asked for those pictures knowing they would likely never meet up with this same simpleness ever again. dazai asked ango if he really needed to leave so soon, knowing their friendship was at its end. and then you just have to live with that apparently ?
