Some pictures to show the different types of effects that I added to the snowflake to give it more depth

What is noticeable s that I gave the image a light blue background instead of a dark navy blue bakground as I think that it looks more aesthetically pleasing

Here was snowflake design that Laura made in Cinema 4D but I was able to transform it so that it looked like it was laying at an angle.

These two images show what it looked like before and after I added a drop shadow and radial glow to the snowflake.

in the end i went for the brief i thought i would enjoy more and also the brief would give me a chance to try out a new skill. in the end i chose- John Lewis

Joining with Laura

Because I was struggling with ideas before the Christmas period, Laura was very kind and allowed me to join in with her project for making an Advert for John Lewis.

These are three different types of Conures. The top image is a a Pineapple, the second is a Maroon Bellied and the last image is a Green Cheek.

I was look to be purchasing one of these three styles of birds, I was going to include it into my project, but due to there being issues with the birds breeding at the moment I still have not been able to get one. Should be able to soon though!!

My original idea for this project was to have an over the shoulder shot showing someone sketching a bird. As the page is turned over, there is a bump in the page and then the ‘artist’ finds a real bird standing on the book.
