Day 1 poisonous I decided to do a millipede for this theme. Some people don't realize that they are technically poisonous. That doesn't mean they are harmful. They are designed to make bird sick. So it doesn't really hurt us. Remember playing with them as kids? That bad taste when ever you rubbed around your mouth with your hands, after you had? That bad taste is how we can tell they are poisonous.

Today is the start of Inktober

Starting today, I will be posting pics all month for Inktober. Not just the normal Inktober theme though. I have also picked up 2 more that I like or think is cute. So I am taking on the suicide mission that is to do 3 themes during the month of Inktober.

Entry 2

Tails… I have been here little more than a week and people have started calling me Tails… I can use 5 of the different types of magic, have an IQ of 152, often have up to 6 magic hands aiding me at any given time, am able to calculate even the most difficult formulas in under a minute, but sure… Why not call me after an appendage I share with half of the scientists here! I swear, I will never understand other monsters… Well at except for Protos, the dinosaur maybe stubborn, but at least he made for interesting conversation.

Anyway, they at least have me helping with a few experiments. They seem to hate when I correct their math in front of the group. So I have taken to correcting their schismatics for them, the things I do to not hurt peoples feelings.

Anyway, I am quite curious to see if we can get the magical candles working. If so, it could very well change ever household and city in the overworld. No more need to constantly go and buy cancel or storing bits of magic in lanterns when walking down the street at night. It would take time to get wide spread of course, but the ability to use an energy source for light longer than what a simple lantern or candle could hold? The idea has my soul racing with anticipation, I can’t wait until we try our designs out!

The nickname is annoying, but at least their are letting me actually do stuff. No more tug-o-war with my blasters during work.

January update

Since, I gave my resolution on here. I suppose I should do updates as well. :) well I beat my January writing goal of 10,000 words. Not only that, but so far I have more than doubled it with having written over 20,000 words so far! I am super excited about that, but also I am feeling kind of productive this month too. I have started working on the background to one of my undertale AU comics, I started a storyboard anamatic for an animation project I've had for a couple years now, and am working on some concept sketches for some original comic ideas that I have.

Entry 1

Scientific Journal, it seems every scientist is given one of these to record the data from experiment, to vent and rant about stupid things co-workers do, as well as other things. It is my first day on the job. I don't of yet have much to do. So, thought this was as good a time as any to get a feel for writing in a journal like this. Before now, I always just kept my notes either on separate peices of paper or in my magical database system. Though, I suppose not all, can be so proficient with magic and the ways each one works to create their own system to gather and store data in... Those poor souls, it is such a useful skill to have. Not limited like paper or this journal with ways to divide and connect or even make notes on the notes... I already miss my database... I wonder if they will let me use it at least a little here.

Oh! I guess I have rambled on... Would it still be called that when writing... Huh, must look into that, but anyway. I guess I should at least say who I am.

New years resolution

It is time for New years resolutions! Normally I never know what to do for the resolution. However this time I think I am going to with something fairly simple. Hopefully, it will be something I can actually keep up with. My resolution is writing 10,000 words a month

Rouge Scribe - prologue

-I’m in the middle of editing a story I am trying to write. Here is a small part of it.-

Screams of pain echoed through the air, mixing with cruel laughter.  I couldn’t move. I couldn’t help. I couldn’t do anything. All I could do was watch, as people I had grown to care for. People I’d promised to protect were being tortured and killed. I was losing everything and not for the first time.

Why, was I being punished? Was it because I broke the rule? Was it due to me trying to change who I was or what I was supposed to do?It felt just like that day. The day that was supposed to be the highlight of my life. The day that ended up sending me on this path. A path I should have known would lead to destruction. After all, this all started because of who I am and not who I pretended to be.  Maybe suspicions arose because of what people stated to call me? Or something that I did without knowing? What led them here? Why is this happening?

Then again, does it matter, anymore? I was going to die anyway. At least I had been given a chance to help people. Hopefully, I managed to at least help at least a few people. While everything around me was being massacred, I could only do two things. Cry and remember everything that led to this moment.

This is a partial Caracara bird, they can be aggressive and have been known to drive groups of vulture away from a carcass. They are beautiful birds, I just wouldn't want to get in their way.

Derrile, the boy, is scared and shy around the librarian. Since the last time he was in the library, him and Tantumn, the cat, caused a lot of trouble and got them yelled at and kicked out.

Magic is everywhere, but it is not a natural occurrence. Our world was not meant to have such a sheer amount of magic everywhere, it is to the point that some places have so much magic, that it might as well be air. There has always existed small amounts of it, seemingly all over the place. Archaeologists have even found it to be true before we came around, but large amounts, that is a different story. It has been determined that only within the last two or three millennia, the amount of magic has jumped to unheard of number, but scientists, archaeologists, people in general can’t seem to figure out or agree on why magic has just appeared in such a way.

You see magic affects things; animals in particular, the interesting thing is that it doesn’t seem to affect any of creature in the same way. Sometimes this is even within the same species. So a lot of people consider a lot of magic, the same way that a rancher considers a pack of wolves that feeds on their flock. Something that simply can’t be any good. Me, I am studying magic and the effects of it. Not just the physical effects on plants, animals, and sometimes even people, but also the physiological effects. (Just a little piece of a story, I am working on. Its a story I will be working on for Nanowimo.)
