☾- Mocha can no longer sleep on her own. She's been sleeping in the same bed as Woody for far too long, and now when he leaves the bed, she's got Butterscotch crawling in next to her. Though if she does end up trying to sleep alone, she'll roll onto her front and lay on her arms.
✿ - Mocha's really calmed down a lot with the sex. She doesn't feel like she needs it all the time, or even every week, though it's rare that that happens.
Charlie:
♦ - Charlie taps things. Everything. With her fingers, a pencil/pen, whatever she has in her hand, she taps against something. She'll tap it against her thigh, or her steering wheel, or the table. She feels like she has to be in motion and the sounds soothes her when she's anxious, and when that happens, she taps harder. She also chews on her pencils and pens, which is really fun with her fangs.
∇ - She's not going to age physically, but as the years go on, she's probably going to get very depressed. She's missing her human family, which she left when she discovered her new blood drinking tendencies. They're not entirely sure what happened to her besides she ran away, and she left a lot of things that were important to her.
It was so dark. Dark and cold. Not the cool, refreshing cold Ninde was used to. This pressed in on her, terrified her. She felt it seep down the walls to claw at her and tear at her psyche. It was a hungry cold, like a living thing that wanted to pull her in and make her a part of it. That wanted to chew her up and swallow her alive.
It was made so much worse by the woman holding her here.
"Why... w-why are you... what do you want?" Freezing tears trailed down her cheeks, biting into her skin on the way to fall from her chin. She sniffled, her hand shaking as she wiped the tears away, her bright blue eyes following the woman as she fiddled with something on a tray. A small smile lit the woman's lips, Lady Anonymous lifting something shining into the light.
"Don't worry, child. You won't be here long."
A stab of hope flittered through her chest, and Ninde scooted forward on her knees. "You're going to let me go?" The hope was too much to contain, raising her small voice enough to be heard far more clearly. It was darkened by the dark chuckle the other woman gave her.
"Not quite yet. Come here."
The ice spirit backed away again, swallowing hard. At Lady's look, she shook her head, chewing her lip.
"The sooner you cooperate, the sooner you can leave." The older blonde's voice hardened, sharper than the icicles that Ninde had playfully danced through just a few days ago. She shouldn't have come back so early. It was dangerous without psychopaths kidnapping her. She should have stayed further north, where it was cold and fun and her brothers and sisters played in the heavy snowdrifts.
"Please... y-you don't have to... do anything to me. I w-won't... tell anyone." Cliched as the phrase was, it was true. If she could just leave, Ninde would keep her mouth shut. She'd go on her way and forget this ever happened, but with the look she was given, it didn't look like that was an option.
The woman shook her head, sighing. "Poor thing." She stopped arranging her tools and turned to the other woman, striding toward her on smooth steps and kneeling. The sympathy on her face coaxed more tears from Ninde's eyes as her face was cupped in gentle hands, thumbs smoothing them away tenderly. "I would let you go if I could, but you're very important to me right now, and I need some things from you."
For all the sympathy in Lady Anon's expression, none of it was true. She held no emotion for this creature in her basement, it was just something she needed. "Now, let's get this over with, shall we?" She murmured, keeping her voice a soothing croon. Her hand slid down to grip Ninde's pale wrist, tugging her firmly to her feet and over to the table. The ice spirit went smoothly, a sickly white washing over her skin as she observed the tools on it.
"No!" The sharp blades and pliers spurred her into action, ice growing over her arm and up Lady's, freezing her sleeve to her arm. the temperature in the room dropped even lower, her terror freezing the very air around them.
Cool blue eyes watched as it covered her arm, sharp edges forming along the shining ice. With a sigh, she dropped the act, her expression hard as she pushed magic to her hand, heating it against Ninde's skin and causing her to cry out in pain, her pulling growing more fervent.
"Stop." Lady said harshly, her grip tightening as the ice melted from her limb. She pulled Ninde closer, yanking her arm hard. "We can do this nicely or not, either way, I'm getting what I need from you. It's not going to feel nice, but either I can help you or you can continue to make this difficult for yourself."
Tears froze as they dropped from the younger's eyes, and she sobbed in fear, still trying to pull herself away from the pain in her wrist. She could feel her skin melting away, and she whimpered, her shoulders hunching and shaking. "I-I-I'm s-sorry." She whispered, her free hand covering her face as she stopped fighting and allowed Lady Anon to pull her hand to the table.
"Leave it there." The older blonde ordered as she reached below the table and picked up a cooler, like the ones you see construction workers with for their lunch. She opened it, checking the ice inside and frowning. She turned to Ninde, considering her for a moment before sighing and waving her hand over the cooler, the half melted ice reforming easily under her magic. A moment later and she was shoving a rag into Ninde's mouth. "Bite down on this." There was no time for the ice spirit to wonder about that, before pain burst from her finger and she screamed, trying once again to pull away from it. Lady had seen to that however, securing her in place with a muttered spell, keeping her hand immobile. The rag muffled her screaming as her fingernail was slowly torn from her finger, watery blue liquid dripping from the wound.
Seconds later and her screaming was renewed as another fingernail was painstakingly torn from her skin, bits of flesh coming with it. Tears dropped in solid shards to the floor, the temperature dropping faster with her distress. Lady sighed, barely giving it a thought as she dropped the second fingernail into the ziplock bag and dropped it in the cooler. She watched as the ice spirit's blood froze on the table, before wrapping a loose cloth around Ninde's fingers. She pulled the rag from the girl's teeth, her sobbing coming clearer as she did so.
"Close your eyes and open your mouth."
Ninde shook her head, her eyes already tightly shut as she tried once more to pull away. "Please, please, I don't- I can't-" She broke off, unable to finish the thought as she tried to shrink away, her hand still stuck fast to the table. Lady sighed, her brow furrowing in frustration. The begging was always so annoying.
"Silence." She said, grabbing the girl's face with a searing hand, pulling another scream from her.
Agonizing seconds later and Lady Anon dropped another piece of Ninde into another bag, and it was also dropped into the cooler. Watery blue blood dripped from her hands and Ninde's mouth, her begging slightly less clear now. She'd have a bit of a hard time speaking clearly with a fourth of her tongue missing, but that wasn't Lady's problem. She looked down at the pathetic lump of girl as she fell to the floor, a sneer curling over her lips. "Disgusting." she muttered, nudging the girl onto her side with her foot. The room was dangerously cold now, and her breath proctically froze solid once leaving her lips. At least now she could be rid of her.
~
It wasn't long before Ninde found herself dropped in the streets, the magic leaving her dizzy. Her blood still dripped from her lips and she looked around before crumpling down onto the ground, frost spreading over her surroundings. Her sobs echoed through the night and shook her body as she curled in on herself, hugging her injured hand to her chest.
