Actually this isn’t really that kind of crossover I guess? It’s just the ninja with Httyd dragons XD and I should probably start working on it more XD

HCs about the Ninjas and their dragons?

*rips doors open* YES

Kai and Quill love to compete in dragon races. They’re there to win and they never lose. Ever. Additionally, they both spend time on their appearances, you can often see Quill grooming Kai and Kai is constantly fixing Quill’s spikes!

Nya and Twist love fishing. Nya will throw fish to Twist and Twist will catch them and throw them to other dragons that hang around. They love to make little performances for the other dragons, as Tide Gliders are known for dancing on the waves. Twist will dance and Nya will surf next to her.

Jay and Brainshocker like to experiment, well, it’s usually Jay accidentally getting himself into dangerous situations and Brainshocker saving him. All of her eggs were stillborn, so she treats Jay as her own child and is always doing everything for him. Jay is always laying on her back and hanging off her, they love having each other around and play all the time.

Cole and Porridge can be found eating at the kitchens together in the middle of the night. If caught, they always pretend to be there for another reason while having food on their faces. Porridge loves to play fetch, especially if it includes treats.

Zane and Frozone are chill and smart, they both have metal body parts and like to make stuff together. Frozone prefers to be alone with Zane, and will create an ice field around himself if feeling threatened. Frozone loves to be scratched under his chin and sit on Zane’s legs while resting.

Lloyd and Firefly are the hardest for me and idk why. Lloyd is super compassionate about Firefly, as he didn’t have too many friends after the Garmadon incident. Firefly loves to fly with Lloyd, especially above the clouds. Lloyd sometimes vents to Firefly and Firefly always pays attention, then takes Lloyd out for some playtime to lighten his spirits.

Hhgghhhh I could do better but I just got off a 11 hour flight XD I’m really sorry about the lack of art, I’ll start drawing more once I get home!

Does wu have a dragon?

Nope! This is because of a sorta “childhood thing” that happened between Garm and Wu. I’m not sure I’ll explore it too much because I was lowkey planning for a second season where that will happen but basically Wu is kinda scared? I guess? Of having a dragon partner.

You know what I’ll explain it anyway lmao SO when they were kids Garm and Wu were playing outside(they didn’t have partners yet) and found an injured Nightfury. In this universe, all hurt dragons should be helped because dragons are a friend of the Vikings. Wu was scared, Nightfuries are extremely rare dragons and are said to be incredibly violent. Garm tried to help the Nightfury but Wu refused to let him, they fought and Wu ended up killing the nightfury(yup.) When they got back to the village they knew the consequences of killing a dragon, it was illegal and was punishable by exile or even death. Wu, scared, blamed the death on Garmadon. Garm was more of a troublemaker than Wu so naturally everyone believed Wu. Garm was punished severely, he tried to convince others he was innocent but he wasn’t allowed to speak due to his punishment. Eventually, he decided to run away instead, leaving everyone to believe he was a dragon killer. Nindrago starts a few years after, everyone believes Lloyd is the son of a dragon killer.

I might change a lot of this idk some doesn’t really make any sense BUTT yeah to answer your question, no, Wu does not have a dragon!

So who makes all of the Saddles and things? I’d imagine Kai since he’s the teams blacksmith

Actually no! Kai prefers sticking to weapons. He only makes riding gear for Quill bc only Kai can get close enough to fit him lol

Who are the villians, and what dragons do they mainly/hunt/ride/control? owo

Here’s what I’ve got for the villains!

Quick rundown of each villian/what they’ll do:

Morro is Lloyd’s cousin and got his dragon from Wu. He’s not even a villain, just a really tired angsty teen who wants to get away from everyone else. Darkcutter is super happy and excitable and Morro and Darkcutter are best friends!

There’s an entire plot during the season where Harumi, or rather her parents, are the main villain. It’s basically the same as the show except Harumi is way younger, and doesn’t try any of that seducing stuff bc I’m tired of ninjago’s one true goal of emotionally killing Lloyd. Basically her stuff is revealed later 👀👀

Cryptor and the Droids are pirate dragonhunters who mostly work freelance. They have a Grim Gnasher pack, who are essentially a lion pack with one leader, Cryptor/his dragon. They show up in mainly one episode where they capture Nya and Jay’s dragons.

Ronin is a freelancer who mainly works for the Jade Stronghold, the biggest village thing in Nindrago. He and his Triple Stryke, Rex, are close friends and are extremely powerful together due to them being in many events they’d rather not talk about and are basically emotionally bonded. They can attack and communicate without talking.

Chen only shows up for one episode in this season where Skylor warns Kai to leave the island. Chen and Buffalo are like those Queens with pugs lmao Chen loves Buffalo and is constantly giving him everything he wants. If you hurt Buffalo,,, gl buddy
