Hi yalllll I just wanted to make a post about how I’m going to be making less ninjago content in the future. One because the show really doesn’t do it for me anymore, I haven’t even seen the recent season and I’m gonna be honest I can’t take this show’s terrible writing and characterization anymore.

Two because most of my friends aren’t even watching the show anymore either, and I’ve really only been here so long because of the friends I’ve made.

So yea, I’m not leaving the fandom officially or anything because my feed is still 99% ninjago and I still have a few ninjago friends, but I’m going to try and expand my horizons so I’m not stuck in this fandom for the rest of my life. Thanks for the last year, it’s been amazing <3

Part of me wants to beg you to stay in the ninjago fandom. A different, thankfully larger part of me wants you to be happy with whatever fandoms you are also a part of. If I may ask, what about the new season drove you away?

Second, hmmmm I don’t really know honestly? I was watching the first few episodes of s12 when they came out and then just somewhere along the line my interest dropped. I think it started when I rewatched the pirates of the caribbean movies, I realized there were other things out there besides ninjago and I started going back to old shows/movies I really enjoyed. I think my standards were raised slightly and there just,, something about s12 that really wasnt doing it for me. s11 was also very disappointing at the finale tbh.

I think also, it’s the fact that ninjago has been making me so angry recently? I went from loving all ships equally to being a bitch about certain ships and feeling personally offended when someone else’s interests didn’t align with mine. I don’t want to be that person, I think it’s better to stop while I’m ahead than continue to just wallow in anger. While ninjago has provided me with a lot of happiness I think I need to learn to take a step back and calm down. Watching and enjoying other shows/movies has made me feel a lot better than when I used to go through the ninjago tag just to find stuff to get angry about, and I wanna keep being happy :)
