It's been 5 years since I've logged on...
So, I got an email today asking me if this blog was still active. I forgot my email/password years ago and I never took the time to figure it out. Looking back at all of these posts really had me reminiscing. So much has changed in my life since I started this blog and it’s incredible seeing how much of a difference 5 years can make. All of us are growing up.. and I don’t know about you, but it sure has FLOWN by for me. I’m no longer a naive college girl trying to figure out who I am. Instead, I’m comfortable and confident in my own skin and who I grew into as a person.
The purpose of this blog is to reminisce on our childhood from the 90’s. If it has taught me anything it’s that those childhood memories, really any type of memory for that matter, get vaguer and vaguer as the years ago on. You need to preserve those memories the best you can. Take those pictures. Write down those experiences. Tweet that observation.
I can’t even tell you how funny/nostalgic it was for me reading through the content on here. Not only because the posts were centered around my childhood, but because of the way I responded to questions/content in 2011. Growing up is an amazing thing and I urge all of you take the time to watch yourself transpire into the person you are/will be. I promise, what you’ll notice will amaze you.
I probably won’t even logon again so, to the 22k followers that are still following this blog, I hope you too have grown in past years as I have and I wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
