long awaited book review/discussion about ling ling huang’s second book immaculate conception. set in a contemporary science fiction universe, huang is not afraid of writing about the emotions we feel the most ashamed about. following the story of two girls who meet in art school and quickly become codependent. we learn about how far jealousy and envy can get you and the horrific results of selfishness and possessiveness when it comes to the person you love the most.

(this book will def remind you of that one homoerotic friendship you had in high school 😂)

i enjoy listening to music as my mind feels. i cannot “binge music”. i’m enamoured with bodies of music for years, for seasons. i leave and i come back and enjoy once more.
