This ethereal sea creature is aptly named the ’Sea Angel’, which is actually a extremely small sea slug, with its largest members reaching only 5cm tall. However, despite their gracefulness and delicate looking physiques, the Sea Angel is quite a veracious hunter. (Source)

This unique succulent is called Haworthia Cooperi. It looks like a small grape cluster, and extends to an average of 3 inches in diameter. The most striking feature is the leaves, which tips are a blue-green and semi-translucent; giving it an ethereal look.

 When William Thompson brought a 2 inch Pilosocereus cactus for his son he hardly expected it to grow in to a 10 foot giant!  Experts say that it’s remarkable that the cactus had grown so tall, and within such a small timeframe - especially considering the family hadn’t fed it the correct nutrients.

  Lasers can get trapped in a waterfall - This is an incredible example of total internal reflection, which occurs when a beam of light is caught within a dense medium (water) and is refleted back and forth from a boundary between a less dense medium (air), effectively ‘trapping’ the laser.  Gyromitra Esculenta, or ‘brain fungus’, is a fungi that looks eerily similar to a human brain. They are native to North America and most of Europe.

 Our earliest known ancestor, Saccorhytus, was around on Earth 540 million years ago. The Saccorhytus is stated to have been no more than a millimetre in size, and to have lived in the sea.  source

This is Wave Rock, located in Australia. It owes its wave-like appearance to being exposed to wind and water erosion for 60 million years. It stands 15 metres high, and 110 metres across.
