I've been having a weird issue where I can't see my Sim's skin and eyes through the glass of most glasses; it's just the inside of their hair mesh. Anyone has any idea what's causing this?

Sometimes I fantasise about remaking Postcards from Nowhere in @chrisnewbie's Project Strangetown. There is such fondness in me whenever I think of my unfinished stories, and such grief also

This is lovely all over. Sim Stories are particularly close to my heart these days; the fondness and grief you mention is precisely what haunts us, I think.

If you want my two cents I say: definitely go back and finish your story. Just as there is a place for you in the world (because you're in it 😊), there is a place for your story too. Whenever you feel weird about it, just remember Aristotle challenged Plato's authoritarian "imitation [of art, of history] will corrupt society" by introducing the concept of aesthetics to say "you fool, bad art is still art AND worthy of our intellectual attention." Paraphrasing, obviously. Plus, I know I love to read Stranger/Strangey fan fics. :D
