I said months ago I'd talk about this, so here it is. One time at a big internet gathering at a bar, we were all good and drunk. Some guy started shit and one of my friends got it into with him & it almost became a fight, but eventually it was resolved and the guy left.
It wasn't until afterwards when I pointed it out to him that he finally processed exactly what just happened. My large, intimidating, very drunk gay friend almost got in to a huge bar brawl while It's Raining Men played loudly on the jukebox.

one of the funnier incidents of me assuming someone knew a meme irl was when a new coworker was talking about some woman who got arrested for tax fraud and I went "God forbid women do anything" and he got scared and thought I was accusing him of being sexist, so he started apologizing and saying how tax fraud isn't even bad, actually.
Thinking about ENRECO again now that there's a new chapter... Oh Gonathan G my beloved humble tragic knight...
Every chapter, a new person forgets about Gonathan. The whole idea of each hololive member regaining their memories is cool ! But because it's minecraft roleplay -- gigi murin has made it tragic !!!
They decided to roleplay as a character, Gigi murin with amnesia is now Gonathan G. But he's like a whole other person now ! Initially it's like, oh this person is actually [[v-tuber lore]] ! BUT THEN THE PEARL INCIDENT HAPPENED !!!!
GONATHAN G IS THE BIGGEST WIFE GUY EVER -- HE LOVES HIS WIFE SOSOSOSO MUCH. BUT WHEN SHE RECOVERS HER MEMORIES AS AMELIA WATSON SHE FORGETS WHO HE IS !!! the next stream is him recovering from the information. I haven't watched the second season or third but i've seen fan art.
The main thing that's messing me up (i have not watched the season 2 and 3 streams yet so im kind of going off of context clues) is that Gonathan has to grapple with filling the hole left by his pearl and the values he holds as a knight. Only for that hole to grow ten times wider when Shiori Nyavella forgets him too. Then in season 3 when the queen whom he serves forgets him...
I saw a fan-art where Gonathan gets a dice and uses it as his only source of comfort -- asking questions to the universe at large, "Will I be okay?" and the roll is a one. Which is like... that's the only outcome possible. At the end of the day, with all the tragedy -- eventually the dungeon for Gigi Murin will be cleared and she will get her memories back. Slowly seeing all of her friends gain their memories and forgetting who they were and the time they spent together -- so distraught by that, that he hasn't even realised that he too will dissapear.
That's a thought that gets me out of my own head. Gets me to actually hear the static and noise of the world. and its all because of fweaking minecraft roleplay
I would like to one day more eloquently write the story of Gonathan
