I wanted to try doing a redraw. So I picked out a pic I did back in 2013 or 2012 I can’t quite remember. But that first one I had to draw with mouse and I have no idea how I did it! XD But I think its pretty cool to see how far I’ve come since then.

Momohime is going to sigh in relief as she sinks into the hotspring. In her rush to relax, she hadn't noticed that there was already another person enjoying the healing properties of the spring.

“Funny how we keep meeting like this.” He never had any shame before, and he certainly has none now. Go figure, right? Besides, the springs are quite nice. Why complain if someone else wanted to relax as well?

He doesn’t do much of it. He’s a master simply by virtue of merging souls with the style’s creator, and getting attacked by just about anything on a regular basis helps keep you sharp better than swinging at the air does.

HC + Candies

He doesn’t eat sweets that often. He’ll have Dango or Mochi on occasion if he stops by a teahouse, but prefers practical foods that serve more benefits to the body. Most of his meals are cooked in a hot pot over a fire, so seafood and wild game are much more common.

Hc weapons

The Demon Blades, almost exclusively. The Oboro Style allows for the use of other Katana effectively, but when your swordplay style involves drawing out the powers of demonic weapons without partaking in the negative consequences, why branch out? The Demon Blades usually send their wielders on a blood-crazed fight rampage, forcing the wielder to take leave of their senses.

In-Game, they are capable of slaying Youkai, Humans, and in the hands of an Oboro Style wielder, can go toe to toe with many gods (Raijin and a Dragon God are both bosses in-game). Incarnations of the Buddha and higher grade Shinto gods are too much for any mortal, of course.

When broken, the blades can re-form over time, will reforge instantly with special whetstones, and can reform more quickly with souls. They all have access to powers that other weapons simply cannot match, but are not sharp enough to melt through other Katanas.

If you block a Demon Blade with your own, the swords will still clash, they’re simply stronger and sharper than average Katanas, and they also have demonic powers.

hc + lovers

Torahime was the only lover he’s ever had. Unfortunately, their fate was rather star-crossed. He was assigned to her palace to gain her trust and steal the Demon Blade her family protected, but he had to go and fall for her. It ended with her death and left him mortally wounded.

That was before the events of his story, of course. She was brought back to life briefly, but dies again in two of his three endings. One of these endings is canon to this blog, thus, Kisuke is still dealing with losing her twice.

Hc + dirt

It’s dirt. Dirty and becomes mud when you mix it with water. Plants grow in it. Whenever he gets too dirty, he’ll just go to a hot spring. Simple as that, really.

HC + ...Death

And which aspect of it do you mean? His comfort with death, the deaths he’s caused, or his own?

Let’s start with the last of the three. He brushes with death regularly. The Demon Blades are highly coveted, and working with Momohime to collect them all (to keep them out of the hands of those that can’t use them) will put him in harm’s way regularly. Oni, Youkai and other sorts of beasts also run wild. In fact, essentially dying is how he became soulbound with the creator of the Oboro Style to begin with. In his own endings he dies in at least one, but is reincarnated simply because others pulled strings for his sake. Had Torahime not vouched for him, I image the Yama would send him to hell. He has too much blood on his hands not to. Deaths caused in defense of one’s goals, ideals, self, or good intentions are still deaths (This is proven in one of the endings for the DLC character Gonbe). Now that he travels with Momohime, though, he may have some chance at a better afterlife. He’s not a vile person by any stretch of the imagination.

Hc + Affection (how he shows it, how he reacts when he receives any, etc. etc.)

Affection is awkward, both in giving and receiving. Torahime was the first person to even consider giving him any physical affection, essentially. He would receive praise while he was being trained, but no one in his ninja clan was the huggy sort. Go figure.

He’s still rather young, so holding hands and the like is enough. Quiet moments are a treasure he rarely finds, and spending one with his lover would be of special importance.

As for receiving, depending on the type he’ll either A) Be confused about it, due to inexperienceor B) Blush, stutter a little, but try not to lose his cool. I mean, he has to have some sort of self control if he managed to woo a princess, right?
