Hello and welcome to the NinjaStop Tumblr account.

We will be keeping this post updated with the most current and relevant information at all times, so if you notice changes occurring to it now and then, that is the reason for it.

What is NinjaStop?

NinjaStop is a non-profit fan-based parody of the show Lego Ninjago.

This project is what is commonly known as an abridged series, meaning we rewrite both the plot and dialogue as well as edit scenes to better fit a comedy narrative.

We are working with a group of talented Ninjago fans to bring you a parody of high quality and good humor.

We are currently wrapping up production on both Pilot episodes, both of which, plus all future episodes, will be uploaded to our YouTube Channel.

We will also be sending out updates here as to when episodes are uploaded as well as share clips of up-coming episodes.

Not technically "new" anymore, but available again for viewing!

It took a while to get here, but I finally have some news regarding the second pilot!

While we unfortunately weren't able to get the full-length upload restored and viewable in all regions, we were able to get around this by uploading it in two parts.

Those of you subscribed to the NinjaStop YouTube channel may have already noticed this when the episode officially went back up, though unfortunately missing a handful of scenes. Thankfully, we now also have YouTube Shorts of those bits that had to be cut from the final episode.

We all greatly appreciate Indi for all the hard work of going back and recutting the episode for reupload, and I know for a fact they're ready to finally move on from the pilots.

So with that being said, we can finally move ahead to working on season one!

Important Update Regarding Pilot Episode Two!

No fancy banner on this one, unfortunately.

While this project is technically protected under copyright law due to being a parody, a copyright claim on out most recent upload has temporarily rendered the episode unviewable worldwide.

We're working to get this fixed and have it available again soon.

To anyone who has already watched the episode, thank you so much! And to anyone who hasn't yet had the chance to see it, we hope to have it back up soon.

Long time no post, eh?

At least not in an official capacity anyway.

Well it might feel like it's been forever since the last time this blog had a proper, non-meme update, but considering the progress we've been making, it's about time to let everyone know where we currently stand.

First off, I'm happy to announce that the script for the first full season of Ninjastop has been completed!

It might have taken a bit longer than we had originally planned, and sure we occasionally had some trouble locking in and actually writing instead of making stupid jokes for the whole session, but we got there in the end.

I'd say we're all pretty happy with what we wound up with, too.

That means we can finally move ahead with the voice acting and give our editor a little bit of a break before we move onto editing for season one.

I just hope everyone is ready for things to be much more zany than they were in the pilots.

And speaking of the pilots...

The editing for the second and final pilot episode has finally been completed!

The editing for the episode took much, much longer than we ever could have anticipated, especially since we still haven't managed to recruit any new editors for the project, but we still appreciate all the hard work Indi has done to make the episode the funniest it can be.

We'll be using the next two weeks or so to go over any last minute touches and ensure things get uploaded without any problems, so in the mean time, I'll be sharing some of the team's favorite clips from the episode leading up to the premiere.

I don't want to hype things up too much, but I'll be honest, I laughed so hard at some moments that I wound up with a migraine after watching it for the first time.

More info about the official release will be made available once I start posting the clips, so stay tuned!

Here's hoping I'll have an update for you guys again in less time than this one took. Nearly a full year of nothing but memes was fun, but it would be nice to have news to share just a bit more often.

Also, thank you so much to everyone that has been following us as we work on this.

We'd still probably do it even if no one was watching, but it means a lot that there are people that think our stupid jokes are funny.

How scripting is going after we finally returned from the holiday break.

Hello everyone. We would like to inform you that, for the time being, we will keep our auditions for joining our production team open. We are still currently looking for a third editor to join our project. This means that you will be working with our Editor Manager, Indi, as well as our Editor, Rokneer.

Your job in the project would include the following:

Editing in the new audio lines,

Trim episodes according to the Script Organiser's notes

Handling the selection and insertion of both new music and sound effects

In your application, please provide the following:

The name/s you go by,

Your Pronouns,

The best email to contact you for callbacks,

Two to four sentences on why you're interested in joining the project,

What software/s you use

There is a preference for Movavi 2022 or Premiere, as those are the software our current editors use. However, other software will be accepted, provided there is no watermark. Both prior experience with editing and a willingness to learn will be factored in when looking over applications,,

Clips of your prior editing work, up to three examples

They can be included in the email, in a linked Google Drive, or linked YouTube videos

While you would be working as an editor, it is also expected that you aid in script writing like all current project members do, voice acting isn't required, though if you wish to, we are more than happy for you to.

For those of you who may want to join this project for just script writing and voice acting, worry not, we will eventually be hosting auditions for just those in the future.

The reason for the latter is due to us doing all our script writing on Ellipsus, a program that only allows writing collaborators to be added to a document if they are added via email.
