When Atsumu accidentally implied that he'd be bringing a plus one to two of his best friends' wedding and his only hopes were two teammates in happy relationships and one too-blunt jerk, he thought for sure he'd have to bite the bullet and admit to lying about being in a relationship.
That is, until his god-given solace in the form of that too-blunt jerk came to his rescue. Somehow, for some reason.
Now he just has to survive being a groomsman, a full-time athlete, and the totally-real-not-fake boyfriend of Sakusa Kiyoomi.
No big deal... right?

Atsumu felt a sneeze coming on, but he willed it down, praying that it'd go away on his own. The itch in his nose got worse and he felt his eyes close and before he could try to tamper it down again, the sneeze tore through him loud enough to garner the attention of the rest of the team. Fuck. "Atsumu, did you catch a cold?" Ginjima asked the one question he was hoping to avoid during practice, and he knew he was fucked. That wasn't going to stop him from trying to talk his way out of it, though. "This is nothin'! I'll get worse if I don't play volleyball!" Ginjima stood up, a look of steely resolution in his eyes. "That's the spirit! Love of volleyball conquers all!" Atsumu stared determinedly ahead of him, still feeling a little dizzy from the sneeze. He was about to agree with Ginjima when he felt a familiar, cold presence behind him. "Go home." or, atsumu is sick and misses his boyfriend, and is a massive crybaby about it

Fuck if Atsumu didn't miss him. The feeling of knowing he was so far away from the one person he wanted to be near was exacerbated by his shitty mood, even if his boyfriend wouldn't want to be anywhere within a ten-foot radius of him in his current condition. A sick man could dream and miss his long-distance boyfriend. Atsumu pocketed his phone and moved to put away his barely eaten lunch, and he could feel Osamu's eyes on him the entire time. "If ya wanted it that bad ya should've said so," Atsumu grumbled, halting his movements so he could give the rest to his twin. "Holy shit, you are sick. Ya never offer me the rest of yer food," Osamu gaped, looking almost horrified. "'Tsumu, ya really should go home." "Stop worryin' about me. I'll live. If ya don't want the food speak now'r forever hold yer peace." "Yeah. Gimme it." He didn't even think about it. That bitch.
