Gif, accompanying my prints for the show, highlighting the order that underlay chaotic or random series of events.
A GIF of all the tessellations for the show display.
The final Outcome, a series of images showing the transfer of design from nature to architecture, using the colours patterns and textures to symbolise nature while the tessellated embossed grids represent architecture.

Session with Ben, finalizing the show display.
My final display for the show will be unframed, pinned art works, 18 in total, aligned in a 3 by 6 grid structure. There will be some with watercolour pieces with the embossing, and some blank ones with only the embossing, to create contrast, and thus highlighting the embossed tessellations, by drawing attention to what may seem as blank sheets of paper.
We dropped the idea of framing the pieces for two reasons, one that the embossing would get lost, and secondly the pieces by themselves have a delicate quality, rawness which by framing might get a little too structured.
I am really looking forward to this process of our project, setting up working together and finally getting feedback from the audience.
Visiting we are facility to find frames and get the pricing.
Trying to find frames, that look good and are good on the price point. I looked up a few and Will recommend a few framers, so Ive sent them emails, trying to book appointments and finalise on this aspect of my work.
I am looking for a white square frame, with a frame with thickness of 20-25 m and preferably a single mounting option.
Some of the places I’ve contacted include:
Peckham pictures
We are Facility
John Lewis
Frames.co.uk
North London Framing
Its important to find the perfect frame, that doesn’t over power the work, but compliments it in a subtle manner.
After sampling with organic forms and embossing over them, I decided to stick with the circles rather than the organic shapes. Also I decided to rework and refine my circles, by reducing the amount of detail to allow the embossed tessellations to be clear and have ample room to be seen.
All the engraved boards and the final water colour pieces are ready to be embossed. For my final piece I will be creating a set of 9 images, original water colour pieces embossed and framed. I created a pool of 25 illustrations and picked the 9 to keep in mind with the grid, based on a suggestion from my tutorial session.

Creating more biomorphic forms and comparing the two to decide which to finally use in my work.
