Big News!
So, in case you all haven't heard yet, the manga publisher Seven Seas Entertainment has picked up Maki Murakami's Gravitation.
They're going to be releasing a newly translated version of the collector's editions in both print and e-book format.
So far the first and second volumes have release dates announced (the first volume's release was pushed back from April to June) for the 25th of June and the 27th of August respectively. But I'm really hoping these do well enough to publish the whole set. And maybe even be followed by an official Ex or SFC English release.
Here's where you can read a preview; there's 45 pages. The scans are gorgeous! I don't don't think the translation is quite as punchy/funny as the T-pop version, but in some key areas is more source accurate, and I've rather liked it so far.
They've included a full color, clean, non censored version of the cover illustration:
Ain't that pretty?
But where does this leave my Gravi Rescan project? Well... Unless I get hit with a cease and desist I think I'll still continue it (I know it's been a looooong while since my last update), if only for comparison's sake between the two versions, but I may change how I share them.
But I highly encourage anyone to support the official release! This is such a good fun series, and I'd love for new fans to find their way to it ^_^
Yuki at the end of Gravitation Ex Vol 1: Please Mr. Sakuma, I'm begging you. Please don't fuck my wife.
opps, my hand slipped
Drawing gravitation in 2024? It’s more likely than you think.

Original scan by @sailorspazz here. I just tried to clean it up a bit ^_^
More fanbook images.
I still haven’t scanned my copy yet so this is as high-res as I could find, but I tried to clean ‘em up as best I could.
I think I might buy a second copy of these books so I can actually lay the images flat, and still have a pristine copy for my collection.
I guess it’s time to go hunting on ebay.
Yeah… It’ll be awhile before I can share high-quality fanbook scans with y’all.
they are just so amazing #Shuichi and #Eiri
Some more Shuichi and Yuki doodles. Shuichi’s hair style changes so often during the manga that I can never decide on a look for him when trying to draw him in my style cough.
Younger older looking shuichi. Good stuff.
