Officially sold! I’m so happy that I was able to help train and prep her for sale! This little 6 year old blue strawberry roan mare out of Hancock decent, certified, kid friendly, heal roping, 4-h state qualifier, 17 second average barrel run; has officially found her new forever home♥️ big things are in store for this little lady!

Went for a little ride we did.

So we had a problem today.... we ran out of detangler within the first half of working out her mane and had to buy more... such a pretty mane but I’m sad that I had to trim it. This is why I dislike letting my horses that have long manes out to pasture for long periods of time. However it does save money in fees that can be used to by extra nice stuff for them during prime riding season.

So after not riding for months we decided to take JJ out for the day and she looks like a bear! May or may not have almost broken leg after trying to mount and accidentally toeing her flank. The back flip I did was great...I didn’t land it but she did kick my leg hard enough to make me land on my back! No worries everyone is fine she checked to make sure I was fine while I was on the ground.😊 so ya hope y’all had a great day!

White horse hoofs!

For the last time people! White hoofs should not what makes you want a horse! Because more times than not white hooves are softer and doing hard work on them does not make them stronger. He’s you can get special shoes and ointment for them, however black hooves are proven to be harder than white! Koodos if your horse is different but they aren’t a fashion statement. Because when they get older it will be harder to show them because of how sensitive they will be.

Before JJ left we got the bareback pad out for a few minutes.

JJ Texas has finished her summer riding lessons and is now back in the care of owners. She has gone from just about a tad off of bronc riding lol to a faster paced western pleasure. I would have loved to see her slow down a hell of a lot more but her stop turned from fighting to a sliding one. Our fastest times in speed went: Barrels-19.32/Poles-25:54/Keyhole-7.2 She will be going on to do more training in roping. Wish this 6 yr old out of Hancock the best!

I will be borrowing her in the spring time for senior pictures.☺️
