Josh is honestly an incredible band member and I want to make a post dedicated to him. This wonât focus on his good looks, because we all know heâs attractive (Iâm gay and like, hot damn), but his talents need to be acknowledged or we are doing him a severe disservice.
His drum style is incredibly memorable! I can always tell itâs him because he uses the high hats frequently when he plays
His bounces on the drums make me fucking WEAK
Heâs fast! So fast! I always thought Lane Boy had a layer of drum takes- nope, itâs all one take. Some of the most famous drummers of classic rock canât even do that
He can play the trumpet! Especially with the energy he puts in, brass is a difficult instrument category to master
He has incredible vocals! Just his speaking range gives you an idea of his vocals, and he has such an amazing voice when he does sing. That vibrato? Fuck, dude.
His drumming never overtakes the songs. Itâs just enough to make you go âwoahâ but not enough to be the main focus, which is awesome

I donât think we really understand how badass the Trees concert ending is. Thatâs ONE DRUM! That beat is ONE DRUM! Not the kit, that is ONE DRUM
just- Joshua is so so talented and I want people to pay attention to that. Itâs important to acknowledge that heâs good looking and kind, but his talent shouldnât be given the backburner.
