Day 24: Visiting a friend of Nicholas, whom he met back in Australia, in Rotterdam.
Wisdom of the day:
Skidaaadel skidoooodel thy dick is now a noodel!
Day 14: After a leisurely morning, we spent some time at the river, until we were gripped by a somewhat juvenile enthusiasm to build a damn. And so, 5 hours later, weâd erected quite a substantial obstacle for the river, and (so we like to think) somewhat altered itâs flow. Only thing is that now weâve got pretty sore muscles. Turns out trudging through the river and lugging around rocks is hard work. Whoâdâve thunk it?
Wisdom of the day:
About marriage:
âItâs survival of the fittest Baby!â
Day 13:
Unbelievable, but we began the day with sports. 5km of jogging. We decided that we definitely needed to do more sport because either we were about to get fat or our liver was expanding waaaaay to much, nevertheless we decided sports would be the solution. Afterwards we went for some god old beer shopping, i mean we definitely earned that.
Now we found a beautiful campsite in the italian alps near a river to stay.
Italian roads in a nutshell. Incidentally, the distance underneath the sign also show how far it is to the next one. Jokes aside, I love how straight the roads are around here. Maybe a few less potholes would be nice though...
Day 12:
Pretty tough day. 95% sitting in a chair, reading, drinking beer or Gin Tonic. Athletic peak was a 50 meter swim in the ocean, which left us somewhat winded and led to more beer.
Gosh darn kids these days. Itâs half past 11 and theyâre making more racket than old man McGucket playinâ his banjo.
Day 11/ Po adriatic delta: Finally reached the Ocean.
Day 11: Ferrara Having a great time wandering through the rainy, narrow, winding alleys of Ferrara.
DAY 11: Ferrara, Piazza Trento e Triesto
DAY 5-8: SPLASH Hip Hop Festival. SPLASH was hella lit on fire. 144 Beers/Grapefruit Radler later Splash was already over. In between there was a lot of dirt ânâ dust caused by 30.000 moshing party animals that took the saying âYou can sleep when youâre deadâ to heart. 3 days after Iâm still blowing SPLASH Beach outta my nose. Only bad news is that some of those drunk, tripping knuckleheads stole our camping chairs and sack barrow, but nvmd still had a great time walking through the crowds giving random high fives, drinking beer with random people and escalating to Hip Hop.
Day 3:
Yesterday we had a great time in Prague, this time sober.
Starting the day with fried instant noodles, cheese n egg the hangover was done for. The two Radler probably did there job as well. Refreshed and motivated we took the âferryâ, it was more a cockleshell, to cross the river and experiencing Prague during daytime. Then we decided to walk uphill to the HradÄany Castle visiting the government district. The rest of the day we spend just wandering around the city.
Today we visited the other fortress of Prague on the opposite river side, which was way more impressive to me caused by its fucking huge walls and gates, which had three doors each.
Know heading to SPLASH!
Worst Drug of our time? Beeing sober.
Day/Night two: Prague was LIIIIIIIIIT. How much we drank? All of it. Just wandering around Prague during nighttime is awesome, itâs like the whole city is still awake and the river bank is filled with people, drunk people. Didnât even go to a bar or so, we just emptied our cans on the journey.
Day two: Nighttime Prague is waiting, as we are waiting for the ferrie to take us there.
Day one: I call it âThe windmills of Saxonyâ
