Here comes the entire questionnaire (all of this is going to be VERY NSFW lmao).
1. What's the fic you're answering this questionnaire about and what's its name? What are its ratings and warnings?
The fic I’m answering this question about is Immer Wieder. If shameless, filthy smut isn’t your thing, you’re going to want to skip this one. It’s rated E (explicit) on Ao3 - E for Everyone is Horny.
2. What was the concept/scene you came up with first that you sort of built the entire fic around?
I’m a sucker for writing pining and reunion sex and I also headcanoned that Ludger has a great deal of pent-up sexual frustration - so I wanted to write him letting it all out after a long, long time. 😂
3. What is your favorite passage of writing?
‘As if I would give you that satisfaction.’ With that, she playfully shoved him into submission against the mattress. He cursed as he fell backwards, with her nearly collapsing onto him. She kept him pinned down, flattening her palms against his shoulders. She steadied herself, their eyes meeting again when she peered down at him. His breathing was laboured, the chartreuse of his irises mostly eclipsed by his pupils. ‘Now,’ she purred, sliding her hand up his thigh, 'let me show you just how much I missed you.’
And this one is a personal favourite because it’s hilarious:
Marlene couldn’t help but chortle. ‘Good boy.’
Seeing him, a man who always seemed to exude an air of quiet authority, in this state was strangely thrilling. He was now a supplicant as he stared up from below with glazed eyes, a silent plea for her to continue within their depths. Whilst teasing him was certainly enjoyable, it would ultimately satiate neither of them. ‘As much as I enjoyed this, it won’t be half as much fun if you don’t take your liberties.’ The smile she gave him as she took his hands was undoubtedly devilish. 'But,' she added, 'not until the time is right. You do want to please me, don’t you?'
She fixed him with an unyielding stare, awaiting an answer. He held it stubbornly for a moment, then rolled his eyes and sighed, giving her a brief nod in resignation.
4. What is your favorite dialoque exchange?
His smirk was a wicked, wicked one indeed, and it was only widening as his eyes were upon her breasts once more. ‘Watching these bounce while you ride my cock will make the trip back home worth it.’
‘And seeing you underneath me will make the wait all the more worthwhile.’
(I had a headcanon that Ludger can dirty talk like a porn star, so there lmao.)
5. How would you describe your writing style?
Prose that borders on flowery and lots of metaphors, with most of the focus being on characterisation. And if it’s smut or steam I’m writing, then almost every sentence is going to be SATURATED with horny. I was looking through the story to take screenshots of the sfw parts, but there were literally none lmao. I don’t enjoy writing dialogue half as much as I write prose, so I often worry that it sounds stilted and unnatural when I do.
6. Which quote/excerpt gives the strongest impression of what your writing style is like?
She could not help but long for him all this while. But she also longed for the feel of his skin against hers, longed for his roaming hands and eager mouth.
Especially right now, with the saffron glow of the lamplight gilding his features - illuminating the haughty slope of that devastatingly, magnificently sharp nose; the divot that had formed in his brow, the angularity of his jaw. She felt herself run slick at the very sight of him, felt a lance of heat coursing through her. She watched him as he shucked off his gloves, those fingers - sinfully long - coming into view. The dusting of hair across his knuckles, the tortuous veins on the backs of his hands that she found so appealingly masculine… had she not averted her gaze to distract herself, she was certain the fabric of the seat would have been soaked through.
(Lots of detailed descriptions, colourful prose, saturated with horny!)
7. Which character gave you the hardest time writing correctly?
Ludger for sure… as there’s not much about him in canon, I kept pausing and staring at my blinking cursor, thinking, "is this out of character for him?" Even in my other fic (yes, there’s more Ludger porn lmao), I don’t think I got him down the way I wanted to - so I may rewrite parts of that (in my head, he’s a mix of gruff and gentle that’s hard to get right).
8. Which character gave you the easiest time?
Marlene - makes sense as she’s my OC lol.
9. What does the title mean/what is it referencing?
The title means "again and again" in German - it’s a reference to how these two horndogs would be up for round after round. 😂
10. Did any scenes genuinely make you uncomfortable?
Nope lmao - I wouldn’t have written this if they did. But I was worried the smut and the dirty talk would be more cringe than hot to the readers because this was literally the first time I wrote smut so I was terrified it would make them uncomfortable.
11. In the fic, how do the characters look different than their canon versions? In other words, how do you see them?
I pretty much pictured Ludger as how he’s depicted in the manga - @nkmt13kyd ‘s fan art was also a great visual aid as she draws him exactly the way I imagine him to look. I don’t describe Marlene much, but it took me a while to develop a clear mental image of what she looks like - light brown hair, pale olive skin, iconic eyebrows.
12. What are some aesthetics/images you often associate with your fic?
The whole sensual setup, with dim lighting, fancy furniture, and a freshly made bed idk 😂 I did have some images that did capture the mood of the fic perfectly, but I can’t find them anymore.
13. Are there any songs that just… instantly make you think of your fic?
Not that I can think of… but there were a handful of songs that were on my playlist that I listened to while writing this - still can’t remember which ones, though.
14. If you could turn your fic into anything - manga, anime, live action, audiobook, etc... what form would suit the story best? what genre would you enjoy the most?
Oh my gosh, I want this to be a live-action short so bad 😭 I don’t know whom I’d fancast as Ludger and Marlene, but it would definitely be fun for the audience to watch 🤭
