“I- I guess I can sit somewhere else… I just wanted to check on you, but yeah. No biggy.”
“Shit,“ she sighed .“No El, I’m sorry. I’m just in a bad mood. Come sit, maybe we can find a Netflix movie or something.”

“I- I guess I can sit somewhere else… I just wanted to check on you, but yeah. No biggy.”
“Shit,“ she sighed .“No El, I’m sorry. I’m just in a bad mood. Come sit, maybe we can find a Netflix movie or something.”
“Serial killers. Oh god, Nat, that wouldn’t have happened. Sonny’s bus and body oder would’ve sent them far away.”
“The bus would have attracted them don’t you think? I agree about Sonny’s body odor though.”
“Are you still mad at me for telling you about the ‘evil Utah people’ article I found while we were camping? We didn’t die… so… there’s something. Although, death might have been better than the coffee.”
“What are you talking about? I loved Utah and camping and I think we should do it everywhere we go.” Her eyes widened at the thought of camping at every stop and she shuddered. “Okay that was totally miserable and I hate you for making me think we were going to die. It wasn’t very cousinly of you.”
“Woah ! Don’t think I’ve ever seen you be this catty before, Natalie. What a beautiful sight to the sore eyes,“ he smiled ( clearly impressed ), getting up from where he had just made himself comfortable. “I’ll go find another bunk, but first, you could use a drink.” Wyatt held out his can of redbull to Nat.
“What are you talking about? I’m always like this,” she replied with a huff. The past week she had gotten a total of maybe six or seven hours and every time she tried to grab a bunk on the bus the beds were all occupied by other people who had the same ideas she did. “I’ve never even had a redbull before.” Nat took the can from him and reluctantly sipped it.

Good Grief- Bastille
I don’t know about you, but I am so glad to be done with that horrible camping trip. I have mosquito bites in places I didn’t want them.
“I’m just really glad we didn’t see any bears, or get eaten by any, or encounter any serial killers.”
“Do you think that you could maybe not sit there? I mean there’s a million other places you could sit and you chose the one right next to me.”
“Hmm… I’m not too sure yet, but I’m thinking ‘carpe diem’ somewhere that would be almost impossible to find,” she mused. “I’m just not sure where that is yet.”
“That’d be cute. Do you think all the secretive places hurt the most though?” She wondered, “I’m no tattoo expert, obviously. But it’s just a thought.”
“Yeah, I know, I’m a shit friend. I’ve just gotten distracted,” Sonny shrugged. “Let’s do something though, you’re right. I miss my overbearing big sister.”
“It’s okay I still love you. I guess,” she shrugged. “Excuse me?” she swatted him on the shoulder. “I am not overbearing.”
“Aww thanks babe.” Hana smiled showing off her perfect white teeth. “But yes, you better believe. I’ve been texting with him for three days already and he said he’s looking forward to the party. And he asked if there will be an available room. This can mean only one thing.” she bit down on her bottom lip. “Someone’s gonna get lucky.” she smirked. “Well I never know if you’re joking or not when it comes to Derek.” she shrugged. “Yes, you show up and have fun!”
“That’s so exciting Han! Do you think it’ll be just a one time thing or are you looking to make it more permanent? Do you even want that?” Nat knew that her friend was notorious for breaking the hearts of many but things changed so she decided to ask anyway. “Oh god,” she laughed. “I feel as if asking if there’s a room available is sorta weird though? Like it’s your house so obviously you’re going to have a bedroom,” she shrugged. “I’m not quite sure what you mean by that?” She cocked her head to the side, giving her friend a confused look.
“But you almost never run out of things to say,” he thought aloud. But ultimately, that was never a bad thing. Nat always had her way with words, which Wyatt easily gave in to. Much out of his control too. She was a leech; but that wasn’t such a terrible thing. "But wait, we’re going to be gone for more than two hours – because there’s a movie coming on later and I don’t want to miss it..” He would have hated to admit it, but Wyatt didn’t have any other way to say that he needed to get home to watch the movie Wall-E, which was finally on TV.
“That’s true. I used to get in trouble for talking in class all the time when I was younger...” she paused. “Actually I still get in trouble for talking in class, it’s just easier now because I can text instead of having to whisper to my friends so it doesn’t happen as often.” Nat had always been that kid in school who found more interested in talking to the person next to her than actually learning the lesson. “We can go for as long as you like, I don’t have anywhere to be but if you want to make it home in time that’s fine too.” She shrugged. “Which movie is it anyway?”
“I wouldn’t say ‘gone wild,’” Carmen uttered, chuckling. “Come on, Nat! You can’t have that attitude! That’s like the surest way you won’t get it if you’re already doubting your skills.” She wracked her brain for the girl Natalie was talking about before shaking her head. “I think you could totally beat her to it,” she grinned. “Okay, we’ll both take a well deserved freebie day then.”
“You’re right, I should have said something more along the lines of ‘Carmen let’s loose 2k10′,” she replied. “I know I’m ready for it but it all depends on how the seniors react. I mean I wouldn’t want a junior leading the team if I were them.” She knew she could have the position if it was based solely on skills but there were still some obstacles she had to overcome. “Thanks Car, it means a lot to me that you think that,” Nat returned her smile.
Derek stood against the wall staring at her as she spoke, a small smirk appearing on his lips. “What you need…. “ he paused pulling her closer. “Is some time with your amazing boyfriend.”
Natalie’s breath hitched as he pulled her toward him, her arms instinctively wrapping up and around his neck. Her eyelids fluttered closed and she pressed her lips against his. She could have stayed in that moment forever, something she always felt whenever she was around him. “You’re right. I should go find him before he moves on to someone better,” she joked after reluctantly pulling away.
“You’re welcome,” Sonny smiled bright. “Oh, the wonderful Sonny life?” He laughed. “I mean…It’s been pretty chill, can’t lie. I’ve been working most of the time, but other than that it’s just been me and Laurel…And Nicole, which has been…” He made a face. “You know. Nicole.”
“That’s really great,” she replied with a smile. “Besides the whole Nicole thing. But even then I don’t see that as that huge of a problem. At least now I know why I feel like I haven’t seen you in a while, you’re too busy for little ol’ me,” she joked.
