the fact that it is so… common to use jokes mocking the korean language in the kpop fandom truly frustrates me. stop making fun of people’s english. racism is not a joke, racism is NOT funny, and racism should NEVER be normalized. if you really care about your faves, you should care about trying not to hurt them too… isn’t that obvious?? it’s one thing to be ignorant and not be aware of what you’ve been doing (since so many ‘popular’ intl fans made these racist actions seem okay to several easily influenced fans) but it’s another to be aware but just not care and ignore everyone that tries to call you out. like it seems to me that you only care about using idols for entertainment and not acknowledging them as real people that can be directly affected by harmful stereotypes and racism.

keep in mind that idols don’t HAVE to speak english in the first place. they are KPOP idols, k = korean as in,,,, speaking korean….. they speak english and give you english subs for YOU, so they can communicate to YOU, bc they Care about intl fans as well. and what do you throw back at them?? :-) hmm…..

please be open minded. the fact that so many fans are brushing this off saying everyone is just “sensitive” “dramatic” and “triggered” is so stupid?? like this isn’t personal this isn’t hate this is about how what YOU are doing are hurting people and how they are treated by others. stop acting like normalizing racist jokes and stereotypes is fine, it doesn’t kill you to stop saying “hearteu” and “infires”. like i promise you there are more funny things in life and in the fandom lol. please educate yourselves and take good care of your idols.
