A Date With Some Food Trucks

Miami was a good decision. The sun made it scorching hot enough to be comfortable, the rays beating down through Mako's plain, white t-shirt as he looked up and down the street of food trucks. Some were brightly painted, some had large signs, some had long lines, and some didn't have any of these. Regardless, after chaining up his chopper in an alley way, it was easy to see the congregated collection of culinary curiosities from down the street.

The whole scene was reflected with a green hue on Driver's aviators, head scanning left and right before looking down at Junku.

"Anything look good," he rumbled, one arm around his back as his hand rested comfortably on a boney Rat hip, fingers idly drifting along there.

He wasn't nervous. Most people spared him a glance for maybe a second longer than average, but he wouldn't exactly call it attention. He wasn't expect to talk to anyone here, not like at the bar, so he could just keep looking scary and unapproachable. The scars and weird pseudo-tusk teeth made it easier to do just that, all while enjoying his date with his boyfriend.

this is a pretty big issue for me actually.

and not just because it’s really amazing to see what other muses say, think and feel about your muse when they’re not around but because I WANT SOME CONTINUITY. i am trying to create a continuity for my character where everything that isn’t an AU has feelings and actions making sense depending on a timeline and people they know and love. actions have consequences. relationships and events change people.

roleplay without that is… well, repetitive… & not very fulfilling to me.

Giving - Driver doesn't give off the wall pet names. Both before and after the explosion, he likes saying his partner's name; he feels it's more intimate and special than anything he can come up with.

Receiving - He's done the Junku nickname/pet name gauntlet. He doesn't like anything too ridiculous, but he's really taken to Junku calling him bear-related pet names.

FAVORITE CANON SHIPS: Roadrat (Fite me)

FAVORITE NON-CANON SHIPS: I'll take anything for a spin, but I've been interested in Lucio, Reinhardt and Jack.

OPINION ON TRUE LOVE: It's out there, he thinks he's found it. He knows it's not all rainbows all the time, but if both people can love and respect each other at the end of the day, then that's true love.

OPINION ON LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT: Doesn't believe in it. Though he does believe in 'Koi no Yokan', the idea of knowing you will fall in love with someone when you first meet them. Pre-explosion Driver knows the word, though post-explosion Driver doesn't.

HOW ROMANTIC ARE THEY: Driver is subtle in his romantic side, but he's got one. He's more of a find a nice, quiet spot to have some food and drinks at, usually some place outside.

IDEAL PHYSICAL TRAITS: Driver has two modes, one is 'definition of twink/twunk' blondes. He likes being able to pick up someone, carry them around and generally show off with them. The other, less explored side is people who are just as big and bear-ish as he is.

He has been known to get defensive of his relationships when talking/displaying them in public; not because he's ashamed of it, but because he doesn't want people prying into his shit.
