I always think I’ve posted all my misc gf sketches but I never have. There’s always more.

(as always if you ship bill with any of the pines family its block on sight I’m not about that life)

I disappeared for a bit, I know, but I came back with... news. Good news, I guess?

At the ripe age of almost-34 I decided I'm going back to study. Yep. It's terrifying. Not a big deal, it's just a two years comic art course that still leaves me time to work (yep, I'm also back to work), but it's still terrifying for a lot of reasons. A LOT. There's the "too old for learning" baggage, the "not good enough" baggage, the "people will think I'm stupid for wasting money and time on this, I look delusional" baggage, the "yeah we're doing great right now but we really shouldn't spend money on ME of all people because we could have an hypotetical and vague emergency which could hypotetically cost money" etc etc...

But obviously the pros outweigh the cons, or I wouldn't even have thought for an istant to attempt this thing.

So, right now I'm working on a portfolio for the admission at this school. Which means I will probably post even less fanart on here, but I still hold dear a lot of my projects and I will do something about those, just on... an even more relaxed schedule than usual.

Something that bugs me is that while yes, between the two of them Fiddleford does have the most common sense, that's an absurdly low bar to clear when the person you're comparing him to is Stanford fucking Pines.

"Maybe we should stop building this doomsday device" should not have gotten the man who immediately after saying that went and started a cult and is also literally a scooby doo villain as many Reasonable Person points as it did.

🔪 ok, Bill is a perfect villain. You can't do much better than this, he's awesome, there's nothing more to say. BUT. I admit I have a soft spot for Gideon and - this might be an unpopular opinion - I really liked his "not-really-redemption-arc". He does one good thing (letting Dipper, Wendy and Soos go, fighting Bill, understanding that he can't force people to love him) and then, the next scene, he's back being creepy with Mabel. And again, after Weirdmageddon, he had that wholesome couple of seconds… before having a kid beaten up by his ex-convicted friends. I think it's a pretty good arc for the little on-screen time he had during the finale. I liked it.

🧸At the moment I just have Journal 3, but I'm looking for a Mystery Shack staff t-shirt that doesn't have 50 euros in expedition fees. Since I already share Soos sense of fashion and my typical summer attire isn't that different from his… I thought it might be an easy and funny cosplay/everyday wear idea!

📆 If I'm not mistaken I first saw it in… 2018? I was having a pretty weird summer, trying to adjust to my new work schedule with its night shifts and all, and I decided to give it a try. I knew NOTHING about Gravity Falls, I just thought it would be a nice cartoon to fall asleep to. AND THAT'S WHEN THE BINGE-WATCHING BEGAN!

💖 I'm a Soos with Ford's nerdiness and Stan's luck in life. So… Stan. Yeah, I'd say I relate to Stan the most.

👻 Though question, they're all AWESOME! But… ok, I'm choosing the Hawktopus. Ford's "too stupid to study" comment won me over.
