Okay I’ve been a big fan of this ship since 2024 and with the rise of tdwp2 (and new Sachston moments!) I wanted to share some hcs! If you like these lmk, I may make some more
Andy is always extra kind to Emily even when Emily is being a bitch. Eventually, her kindness wore down Em’s walls (though Emily will never admit she finds Andy caring to be endearing)

Emily loves coffee. Andy does, too. Ironically, Andy is the one who prefers more bitter coffee, Em likes sweeter coffee
At some point, Emily realizes that a big part of the reason she made so many cruel comments about Andy’s body is because she was insecure about her own appearance. She did not know what to do with this realization. She sort of apologized to Andy and told her this but it was very awkward for her to admit
Andy loves to wrap her arms around Em from behind—ESPECIALLY if Emily is in the middle of something and it surprises her
That one time Andy showed up to the office in Chanel boots and that fancy outfit in TDWP1 Emily had THE BIGGEST lesbian panic ever
Andy is more of a flirt between the two of them
Emily’s way of showing affection is little notes and gifts on Andy’s desk. It’s easier for her to be sweet with a present or note than face to face
HOLDING HANDS. Emily wasn’t sure of it at first (“your hands are probably sweaty and disgusting anyway”) but later started to like it
They text often and about anything
Emily was basically yearning for 20 years after TDWP1 for Andy. She still remembers the voicemail she left Andy almost word for word
Even though Emily knows Andy didn’t ignore her call on purpose, she left a vulnerable voicemail and since Andy never replied, it takes Emily a while to open up to her again

They watch reality TV together
Emily teaches Andy what it feels like when someone cares about you in little ways and notices everything. Andy teaches Emily that she matters and is important
LITTLE BONUS: Emily is afraid to post about their romance on socials. Andy is not. When they finally post about it, Emily’s post is something refined, like an edited still of them at a fountain and a caption like “my darling” or something. Andy announces it by posting an awful photo of Emily like running from a pigeon with the caption “me and the bad bitch I pulled by being a decent person”
