Aomine Daiki hated rainy days. When he was at school, it ruined his favorite spot to nap on. Not only would he get soaked, but the roof also became slipery.
There were some good sides, though. People were often less energetic and lousy; they would avoid going outside even if they had an umbrella, and most importantly, depending on the severity, it could obstruct Momoi from finding him.
He would never admit it, but his view on rainy days did change because of you.
❲ "...❀
It was the beginning of fall, and the cold was starting to creep in; together with it came the rains and the strong wind.
Today wasn't your day; everything seemed to be going wrong. Your umbrella broke in the middle of the way to school; you were already late as it was, and now you were getting absolutely soaked.
Because of that, when you got to the school you had to try your best at drying yourself before going to class, which made you only beign able to enter in the second class of the day.
If that wasn't enough, later in the day, you were forced by Momoi to find your boyfriend, who had escaped practice once again. Usually that wasn't a problem; you don't mind spending time with Aomine or his team, but you weren't exactly in a good mood the entire day.
It took you a while, but he was found in one empty clubroom; apparently, they were closed today. Aomine was taking a nap on the sofa on one of the sides of the room, with his jacket thrown over his face to shield it from the light coming in through the window.
When you enter the room and close the door behind you, the blue-haired man moves slightly but makes no further movement, showing he woke up. So you approach the sofa and sit on the end of it; he still doesn't do anything to show he acknowledges your presence.
You have to call out his name at least three times and lightly shake his arm for him to wake up. He moves his jacket slightly so he can see who woke him.
Without giving you time to react, he wraps his arms around you and pulls you in with him, so now your upper half is lying down and practically immobilized from the strength he is holding you.
— Daiki, you know you have to go to practice. — Your attempt to convince him is rather futile; he simply hums back. — Alright, alright, let's make a deal — when you say that, his interest is piqued and he opens his left eye to look at you.
— After practice, I will go to your house so we can cuddle and watch a movie, so you can sleep in the middle of it again. — After you finish your offer, he takes a few seconds to think, staring at the ceiling.
When suddenly, he abruptly sits and drags you with him, again.
— Fine, but you're watching the practice — He says as he gets ready to get up and puts his jacket on properly. — You're not running from me this time — He whispers near your ear with a small smirk on his face.
❲ "...❀
After practice, as promised, you went to his house. You both had to share his umbrella, which gave him an excuse to be extra close to you, not that he needed one.
Because of the rain and the cold, you clung to him the entire walk to his house; he even gave you his team jersey, but it was still cold. You also felt bad for making him wear less clothes when it was raining, so you said you could share it somehow.
When you got to his place, you both took a shower and went to watch something. Which was long forgotten when the both of you fell asleep quite fast.
In the middle of the night, Aomine woke up to move his position, but he soon noticed a weight stopping him. You were laying your head on his chest, arms around his waist and legs wrapped around his; most of your weight was on top of him.
He simply accepted his fate and layid his head back, he could hear the sound of a different movie playing on the tv, on the low volume now, and the sound of rain in the background.
Aomine Daiki still felt a little sour about the rain stealing his spot, but spending rainy days with you like this always made it worth it.

A song started playing in the training room, obviously from Earth, although Lance never heard it before. Entering the room, he saw the Altean Prince dancing around.
"They say the holy water's watered down
And this town's lost its faith"
He was wearing the same clothes when they first met each other. It was the only time Lance saw him wearing it.
— Oh, Lance! — the prince spoke, surprising the paladin, who didn't expect to be noticed so soon. — You want to train? — Y/N paused the song.
— NO! Hm, no, I just wanted to know who was playing the song — he answered sheepishly.
— Pidge has shown me some human songs — He got closer to the paladin — I especially enjoyed this one. Wanna dance with me? — Y/N extended his hand.
Lance couldn't trust his own voice right now, he felt a blush creeping up his neck, his heart feeling like it was going to leave his chest and a knot in his throat. So he just placed his own hand on top of the prince's, following him further into the room.
The music continued where it had stopped, now with the two in the middle of the room. One of Y/N's hand on Lance's back, the other still holding his hand, while the paladin's other hand is on the prince's shoulder.
"So if our time is running out day after day
We'll make the mundane our masterpiece"
They started slow, just moving side to side, feeling the moment and each other's presence. Lance was letting himself go, just following the other's movements and flow.
Slowly they started making bigger moves, putting a bit more emotion into their rhythm. Moving side to side across the entire training room.
"Oh my, my love
I take one look at you"
Y/N starts to hum to the song, with a small smile on his face. In return, Lance smiles a bit bigger, feeling euphoric just by being this close.
Now the prince is fully singing, eyes closed, his grip on Lance a bit tighter. There is a purpose found in his movement, more than just enjoying the moment, he seems fully taken by the song.
"The angels up in the clouds
Are jealous knowing we found
Something so out of the ordinary"
While Lance is just happy to go along, his dance skills allowing him to keep up quite easily. Since the prince decided to do more elaborate moves, like spinning the paladin, or turning both of them as they move side to side.
Y/N can't see it, because they still have their eyes closed. But the lights in the room have gotten dimmer, and little sparks similar to stars start rising from the floor, looking like a mixture of fireflies and stardust.
"Oh, my life, how do ya
Breathe and take my breath away?"
A little manifestation of his powers occurring involuntarily. Lance looks around, marvelled with the scene before his eyes, and even more enamored with the one right in front of him.
The little specs of light shining upon his skin, forming a view that could only be described as heavenly.
Even their clothes changed, they both were now wearing traditional Altean royal clothes. But Lance could only assume that's what they were, he would have to ask the other after the song finished.
Y/N's altean markings started to glow, getting bigger and going down to the middle of his cheeks. The tip of his hair also started to glow, the same color as his marking.
"Shatter me with your touch
Oh, Lord, return me to dust"
When he finally decided to open his eyes, Y/N saw the most beautifully scene of his entire life. Lance was looking at him with clear love in his eyes, the gold of the specs of light surrounding them reflected on his skin, a few even stuck to his hair.
"Something so heavenly, higher than ecstasy
Whenever you're next to me, oh my, my"
At the moment the paladin noticed the other looking at him, he smiled brightly, and then the prince thought of himself as the luckiest men in the universe.
Both started to slower their movements again, while still looking at each other, wanting this moment to last forever. Engrave this memory into their brain, so they could still revisit the moment even when it ended.
"World was in black and white until I saw your light
I thought you had to die to find"
With a burst of courage, Y/N pulled Lance closer to him, their bodies fully touching each other. The hand that was on his back, moved to his cheek, as a way to ask for consent, when Lance gave a small nod they both moved.
Now not only were their bodies touching, but also their lips. As the dance, it also started slow, gaining confidence.
The hand that was still holding Lance's, now went for his waist, grabbing it with just a bit of force as an encouragement. Lance's hands moved to Y/N's hair and his neck.
It felt like time had slowed down, like that instant would last forever, but both of them needed to breathe.

Other notes: I've had the idea for a scene like this ever since I heard the song, I just never decided who to write it for. In the end, I chose someone who I think would dance really well.
Notes: Just letting you know that this probably sucks, but I wanted to post it anyway since it's my first attempt at a drabble. I'm also terrible with titles.

There was an awkward silence in the room, at least to one of the people present.
Y/N had gotten injured, they were separated from the group and surrounded by Galra soldiers. Instead of taking cover and waiting for the Paladins to arrive, they decided to improvise.
In this improvisation, they got injured, not deep enough to need the Cryopod, but still profound in Keith's eyes. Keith, who was mending the alpha's wound while no longer releasing distressed pheromones, still seemed worried.
His focused face was cute, but Y/N couldn't say it aloud unless they wanted to receive another scolding from the omega.
— There, it's done — Keith said while getting up and putting the supplies away. He would leave without saying anything; he had already said enough and could only hope the message was received.
Y/N went after the black-haired, looking like a lost puppy, although moving a bit slower due to their injuries, which weren't depriving them of movement, but it still hurt to move fast. The omega noticed and slowed his pace so they could walk closer together, internally praying the alpha wouldn't comment on it.
— You didn't need to take care of my injuries but thank you. — Keith wasn't expecting that comment. With his ears burning, he replied lowly, "No problem." He was too embarrassed to say anything else.
They weren't even together, but the Omega felt distressed at the sight of the injuries. He felt obliged to help the other and make sure they were safe. But he was too embarrassed to admit it, so he just did it and spoke the minimum he could.
The alpha's pheromones helped calm the omega's heart, beating rapidly since their comms went down. Worried sick about his and the alpha's safety.
After walking in silence for a while, they arrived at Keith's room door.
— Well, thank you again for the help — The alpha said and started moving away, going for their own room.
— At what point did you think that was a good idea? — The black-haired man said without thinking, still upset that the alpha got themselves injured.
— I'm sorry? — Y/N answered confused; They didn't understand what the other meant.
— Turning off comms — Keith said in an annoyed tone as if it was obvious. The reason the team took so long to get there was because the comms were off.
— I didn't want the team to hear the explosions and get worried — What they meant was "For you to get worried", but they were afraid of saying it and getting rejected.
The omega didn't respond, just nodded with a thinking look. He wasn't satisfied with that answer, he felt that there was more to it, but didn't want to pry.
Keith just turned around and entered his room, locking the door behind him.
They were on each side of the door, wanting to speak more and get things resolved but too afraid to do so.

Other notes: I was completely addicted to Dragon Age: The Veilguard, and now I'm playing Cyberpunk. I'm thinking of adding them to my writing list; I just don't know if I can characterize them.
Notes: On my future pieces about knb you can imagine their meeting however you want, I just like thinking and writing these scenarios for funsies. In most of these scenarios you're the team's manager (except for Aomine).
P.S.: I rewatched the first episode to write something close to canon for Kagami and Kuroko, the rest are fruits of my imagination. Also, you're a second year.

↳ Kuroko Tetsuya ¡๑°⸙͎ ˎ´-
»» The very first moment you saw him was when he applied for the basketball team, although soon after you completely forgot his existence, similar to Riko and Hyuga.
»» On the same day, while the first years were being introduced and accessed, you were dealing with the bureaucratic part of the recruitment, so you couldn't participate.
»» But on the second day, you arrived a little late, the training game was already happening, although it was in the beginning. You immediately noticed the blue-haired guy being 'left off' the game "What was his name again?".
»» Finding him cute, even more so when he started to show his ability on passes. Since then you made a mental note to always remember and notice him, the cute almost invisible player.
»» After the game you went to the first years and congratulated them on their win, while you also introduced yourself and asked for their names, just so you know who is who "Ah, his name is Kuroko, cute".
↳ Kagami Taiga ¡๑°⸙͎ ˎ´-
»» You were with the other second years recruiting people for the basketball team and watched the whole Koganei vs Kagami ordeal. A bit intimidated by the redhead's aggressive energy and way of speaking, but also impressed.
»» Before you introduced yourself as the team's manager, he thought you were a player. So when you said that you weren't his immediate response was "Why not?", so you explained very briefly why you decided to be the manager and not play.
»» The reason I see him not trying to ask further is a physical one, like an injury or disability. Otherwise, he might keep asking questions until someone, or you, decides to stop the conversation.
»» On the training game, you made a mental note to think of ways to 'humble' him, so he would actually play as a team and not score alone. He still needs the team if he wants to win future games.
↳ Aomine Daiki ¡๑°⸙͎ ˎ´-
»» Your dad is the coach of the Too Academy, so you would go watch them practice sometimes if you weren't busy with your own club. You also would wait for their practice to be over so your dad could take you home.
»» There has been a few days that you hear Wakamatsu complaining about an 'Aomine' not showing up for practice, you never saw him though, only heard he was from the 'Generation of Miracles'.
»» On a day when you didn't have any club activities and didn't want to watch the team practice, you went to the roof to practice drawing the horizon. There was a place where nobody went, so you got up there for some peace and quiet.
»» Not too long after you sat down and started drawing, you could hear someone coming up the stairs where you were. There you saw a pretty guy with a tired face, he noticed you and made a complaining sound.
»» "What are you doing here?" he asked with a rude tone, so you responded in the same tone with a "This is my place for escaping". He stared at you for a couple of seconds, before lying on the floor next to you and saying "Just don't be loud".
↳ Kise Ryota ¡๑°⸙͎ ˎ´-
»» You met him on the very first day when he asked around about the basketball team, they showed him you. You were the one who guided him to the basketball sign-up area and welcomed him to the team.
»» Later on the day, when accessing him and writing down his data, he was surprised when you didn't know who he was, principally considering the number of fans following him (who you had to expel from the court so they wouldn't disturb practice)
»» He got even more surprised when you showed complete disinterest in him being on the 'Generation of Miracles'. Most people are shocked, impressed, or scared, which was the reaction he was expecting when you told him "It doesn't matter where or who you were before, the important thing is how you're going to play here on forward", he didn't quite know how to answer, but was happy that at least someone treated him like a normal person.
»» From that moment forward he started to call you Y/N-chi, even if you didn't play, he still treated you like the players he respects.
↳ Akashi Seijuro ¡๑°⸙͎ ˎ´-
»» You met before he even entered high school, you were the one to go to Teiko to recruit him for the Rakuzan team, together with Mibuchi.
»» But you only knew the confirmation of him studying on Rakuzan when he approached you to join the team on the first day of school. You were happy that a strong player was joining the team, but you never treated him like such, you just acted like he was anyone else.
»» He greatly appreciated it, that you and the whole team just saw him as an equal, not above and not below. Although his other personality didn't really care about it.

Other notes: Can you tell I was running out of creativity with Akashi? Also, I have no idea how the first day of school in Japan actually goes, principally when a school recruits someone for one of their team before they even go there, so I just imagined the same that happened in the anime.

The age of corruption was a time when technology was at its peak, with even travel to other planets. Robots and machines did the majority of the labor. Until the "Day of Calamity," a catastrophic event caused by weapons of mass destruction, including chemical and biological weapons, the world was covered by dark clouds that stopped the sun from reaching the ground.
The age of darkness was the consequence of that day, the survivors were obligated to live underground, where they had to deal with starvation, civil wars, and even mutated monsters. It was also impossible to grow anything on the surface due to the Nuclear Winters, and most of the "Old World" knowledge was lost.
The "Day of the Bright Sun" was the day a builder named Peach used a machine that he built himself. That machine tore holes through the sky, and he used it in multiple locations before it stopped working. But that was only the beginning. It took years after this day for the sky to fully clear out, and people started to move above ground.

Because of historians and ruin divers, the past of humanity was a little bit discovered.
In the age of corruption, there were a lot of prejudices about second genders. Alphas were expected to be extremely dominant, strong, and sometimes even violent, their authority was unquestioned, and when they suffered a blow to their ego it was in the law that they could answer with violence.
Betas were the majority of humanity, usually having relationships with either other betas or alphas (if the alpha chose them). They didn't suffer from the same biological problems as alphas and omegas (heat, rut, pheromones, etc), and although they could still sense and differentiate these problems, they didn't get affected by them at all. They also couldn't be marked (mate mark).
Now the Omegas suffered the most, they're basically the scapegoat of humanity, more especially the alphas. They were only supposed to mate with alphas, other omegas and betas were off the question. They had to be submissive, delicate, and subservient, more often than not stay-at-home partners.
Most of these laws and societal norms were left behind and forgotten during the age of darkness, only a few remained, but with less strength. Alphas were still the ones to initialize the courtship, the omegas were still expected to have children, with a partner or not, and a few others.
