Amanda sighed, curling closer and kissing his jaw. “Ignore them.”
“I’ve been doing it for six years, why stop now,” he said.

Amanda sighed, curling closer and kissing his jaw. “Ignore them.”
“I’ve been doing it for six years, why stop now,” he said.
“They don’t have a say,” Amanda said, curling into his side.
“You’re telling me,” he muttered.
Amanda sighed. “Talk to me, No..”
He sighed, dropping down next to her. “They wanted to try to get me to go back to school.”
Amanda sighed, taking a long sip as she curled up on the couch. “Why were you with mom and dad?”
“Doesn’t matter,” he said with a shrug, opening his beer and taking a swig.
“Can I have one too?” Amanda asked
“Here,” Noah said, handing her his and getting one for himself.
Sighing, Amanda dropped her head back against the couch.
After covering the spot, Noah sighed, getting himself a beer from the fridge.
Amanda bit her lip, but nodded. “Thank you,” She whispered, pressing a kiss to his cheek.
“No problem,” he said, getting up to get neosporin and a bandaid.
Amanda was sitting on the the couch holding the splintered hand in the other, trying not to look at it.
Noah didn’t say anything as he came in, tossed his bag aside and knelt down in front of his sister, plucking the splinter out and throwing it in the garbage. “Better?”
It’s big enough to do with my fingers but every time I try to pull it out, I gag. Please…
You’ll have to be a few minutes.
You can help me get it out.
Just get a pair of tweezers.
It’s in the palm of my hand… it really hurts.
I won’t be able to do anything to help, Amanda.
Tell them you have to go.
Just put your fingers in warm water.
Noah, it hurts.
I’m talking to mom and dad, I’m in more pain than you are.
Fix it
I’m out.
I just got a giant ass splinter
Ugh.
Fucking ow
What?
Amanda rolled her eyes, reaching up to touch Noah’s cheek. “I love you.”
“I love you too,” he murmured.
