Mozart is gonna play piano for her. She’ll finally get to hear him play. It’s not an empty promise or a warning of parting. She’ll finally get to hear and he’ll finally get to play. They both look so happy about it. I’m so happy.

     She’ll pause for a moment to think. Hands coming to rest in her lap as she does. “ I don’t think I can agree... Isn’t it easier to accept what is and change what you can if you must? The truth doesn’t have to be so difficult! ”

      At those words, her expression fell into a thoughtful one. Not everything in this world is easy to understand. She’s visited Rome and she’s heard her friend play piano again. But in the same vein, she’s seen the dead bodies of her people. She’s witnessed so many wonders and terrors in her time here. But her dear Saint becoming something so frightening was... among the worse. I cannot understand your hatred. She has known this to be true for some time now. The woman before her was nothing like the image she had heard from stories. The picture has been distorted into a heartbreaking sight. This too has changed into something she needs to wrap her mind around.

     Yet, there was something she didn’t need to learn. She already understood the way it felt to have the people you love to speak ill of your name. She tries to makes it a point never to focus on the past. But, at times, it’s impossible not to.

     That too, she understood. 

     A gentle hand came forward to grab Jeanne alter’s hand as a brilliant smile came back to her face. She could pull away if wanted. But, the attempt remains. “ The past will never change, no matter the actions you take today. That means tomorrow's sun is the only thing you should have your eyes on, my lovely Saint. A curse can be removed, so work towards that! An image can be restored to its rightful beauty, so see to that as well!”
