I don’t have many problems with s5 of The Boys, but if I had to say one it would be what they did with Kimiko. I get that she’s comfortable enough to speak again and that’s great and all but… why only make sex jokes??? 90% of her speaking dialogue was sex jokes. I used to write a fic series for the HP fandom and I would really like to finish that one day, however every time I think about writing a new part I get this disgusting feeling of dread because everything HP related is connected to the wicked witch of England in some shape or form.

For a while I tried to look past it because it’s not like she’s profiting off of fanfics or anything and she’d absolutely hate what i’ve been doing with her characters, but it still feels like merely interacting with the fandom in such a small way is damning. The guilt can reach to such a personal level because i’m gay and trans, yet I still see these characters that she made and I want to write about them. I want to write about them in ways she never could, but that seems impossible without feeling like i’m doing a bad thing.

I’ve seen many different opinions on this topic, some definitely more chill about it than others. I, for one, don’t care if you write fics about HP. It doesn’t bother me but maybe it should? I don’t know?? I’m in a never ending cycle of letting other people decide on how I should feel about something and being too scared to form an opinion of my own because I don’t want to be witch-hunted on Twitter or something along those lines.

I don’t think i’ve ever been scared out of a fandom before this, but here we are.

Attention cowboy gays, I want to write a Macsummers fic but i’m struggling between picking one of the two plot lines to use. I don’t wanna overwork myself by writing both soooooo, I need help choosing if you don’t mind.

1. Sean survives the bullet to his head but loses an eye, resulting in him becoming handicapped and needing help from Lenny to readjust into his new life.

2. Sean does not survive per se, however he does somehow come back at a zombie from beyond the grave. He’s still himself for the most part, however now he has to deal with your everyday zombie cravings and whatnot. Lenny is the only one with the stomach to lend him a hand at first. To eat or not to eat, who knows?
