Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed how Emily in Paris completely changed Lily Collins? 💔
I watched the show only because of her. But honestly, I get a lot of crap for how I feel about it. I’ve been a fan for a long time,(2018) and lately, it feels like Lily isn’t the same person anymore—at least not the artist so many of us connected with.
Her vibe, her style… it’s changed. She now comes across more like a Gen Z Instagram influencer than the soulful, individual, authentic woman we admired. I was scrolling through her Instagram yesterday, and the difference hit me hard. It’s gone from raw, heartfelt, creative posts to mostly curated promo content.
Yes, people grow and evolve—but this feels like a complete shift in identity. She used to post inspiring messages, share vulnerable parts of her life, even published a beautiful, honest book—not for promotion, but to connect. She felt more than just an actress—she was an *artist*. Especially for young women. I remember thinking she'd become an activist someday. Remember when we were called *Lilyians*, *Lilybians* ?
