The thing about Oscar is that he’s a smart ass know-it-all. There’s a hundred Prema videos to prove it. Somebody says something dumb, a non-native English speaker describes a cookie somewhat badly and Oscar’s making all sorts of faces and correcting their mistakes and poking holes into their arguments like the smug bastard that he is.

But with Lando, he’s different. Lando says something dumb, mispronounces the name of a flower, reads off the cue card wrong and Oscar just laughs. Not a mocking laugh, not laughing AT him. But a softer, kinder laugh. One where he’s just genuinely amused.

And when he does correct him, it’s gentle. It’s not to make fun of him but to help Lando finish his train of thought, guide him to fully express whatever it is he’s trying to say, lead him to the right answer so that they can win the quiz together.

And if that’s not a sign of having the world’s biggest crush on someone then what is???
