In his fantasies, Camilla hadn't cared that they were related. Leo has noticed, irritably, that he does not fantasise about a life where she is not his sister. He wouldn't know her if they weren't, would never have developed his wretched feelings. There would be nothing to drown out, to hide.
On her wedding night, he drank until he forgot the details. Blurry memories shrouding one clear moment: When he'd come so close to bloodying his hands—steadying his palm on an exposed shoulder, so sour at Elise's slight purple temptation that he'd almost taken the only sister he could.

As per usual, Farina was right: she makes a model pirate, born for the sea. Carries a different air compared to when she was a mercenary—Dart still hasn't figured out the whole story about that. Something about how you can't fool a pegasus, so as soon as it stopped working out for her, she'd marched straight to Port Badon and demanded to board his ship (like they weren't docked).
She's as confusing as a treasure map's riddle, but she rakes in plenty coin. The crew all love her—and most confusing of all, Dart finds that he's fallen too.

They'll burn up together. Hiruko is quietly relieved as she cups Takumi's face—he'll die as himself. He'll follow the rest of their friends; she'll follow him anywhere.
She hopes he can't feel her lips tremble. What if this time, as punishment for making it to the end of this doomed timeline she selfishly gave up on, she doesn't come back?
His cheeks are warm beneath her thumbs. A shrill sound skewers the stagnant air. Hiruko's eyes fix on that clueless, shocked face until a white light sparks and blinds her.
The flames cradle them. The loop consumes her again.

His mother is worn journals and a ring. Stacks of faded research, torn pages and blotted ink. She is obscured beneath the brim of a hat that is now his. She is not a corpse, like his father is. Laurent did not bury her. Ergo, she may yet come back.
She'd be fascinated with him now, he thinks. The daughter she left behind now a son—a name recovered from the pages of a personal record, a log leading up to his birth. His mother was a scholar, a scientist. Laurent, with his pupillary hand, picks up anything she started.
"hmm what sort of drabble shall i write today" i ask myself, knowing full well i'm going to write something about a fates or awakening kid and their tenuous relationship with their absent parents again

We had 80 words submitted. The list was cleaned of any doubled and too similar words (for example: Myth and Mythology were both submitted, so Myth was chosen for the randomization) which brought it down to 74 prompts, and then put through a randomizer thirteen times. The first 31 words were then chosen for the prompts.

part of what i like about trans!Laurent so much is that it makes it more... touching? that he continues to emulate Miriel, at least to me. like his gender is a whole separate thing to that. i just think it's fun
Laurent-centric triple drabble for trans day of visibility. Warning for very mild descriptions of dysphoria. Also, Noire is his sister (and Tharja his other mother, though she's not really mentioned).

"Are you going to tell them?"
Laurent fixes his glasses. He's posed himself the same question a hundred times already, even before he reached the past.
"I don't intend to. Interfering with such matters too much may prove to have deleterious effects. You know this. And," he thinks of how his mothers might react, "Mother doubts my story enough as is."
"Oh," Noire answers. Then, as if she can read his mind, she meekly offers, "But I'm sure they'd like it if you told them. Since you couldn't let them know before."
Straightening his back, squaring up his shoulders, he shakes his head. "They can't know. It is imperative that they raise me as a daughter. If I informed them of my circumstances, my development may proceed too... differently."
"Well, they're smart," Noire says—she isn't arguing with him, because that's not the type of little sister she is. "They'll realise something's off when they have two girls, won't they?"
He's thought of this a hundred times too. "Perhaps. Although, we're merely assuming this future shall follow the same course as ours. Should anyone else around them report a disparity in their children's sex, they'd lack reason for concern."
"I think it'll be the same." Again, not arguing. Talking to herself. Whispering her opinion in that way she does, marginally less withdrawn around him.
With only Lucina as their sample size, it's impossible to draw a conclusion. Convicing a coincidence as she is.
"I can't tell them," Laurent repeats. It all flares through his mind: the discomfort as his body had changed, solitarily scouring through dusty books in search of how to set it right—will this timeline's version of himself really have to suffer the same? "We cannot predict the future." And, hastily, "Thank you, though. For always listening."
