My family and I have lost our entire home in a devastating wildfire. I dont know how else to talk about or go about this. Almost everything ive ever owned, made, and grew up with, is gone. Ive lived in that house for 23 years-- my entire life, since i was 2 months old. Im at a complete loss and can only be incredibly grateful that my family and our dog are all safe and sound and evacuated away from the danger zones. But this is the most painful thing ive ever experienced. I dont know what to do, so here. Any shares or donations or anything are incredibly appreciated. Thank you. I love you guys ❤️💛💙

Did you know that if you run towards Listening Point Bravo from the Sentinel Site, the Prydwen is in your line of sight for a large portion of the trip as soon as you get out of the Glowing Sea?
I did that run just to see and had to get around some Super Mutant camps, a couple Brotherhood patrols, many raiders, a few yao guai, and a Deathclaw. Breaks my heart to imagine him running that alone.
SPOILERS FOR THE QUEST “Blind Betrayal” Turn back now to avoid spoilers!
I’m gonna go off here and explain the symbolism for this piece I did.
So to start this off I’ll be focusing on Maxson.
I made him a statue because of a few reasons.
1. Being unmoved and cold towards Danse after learning about him.
2. Him being the “last Maxson” and being idolized by the Brotherhood ( Danse included) + the references to King Arthur.
3. The angel statues in cemeteries.
One of his eyes is covered by kudzu, symbolizing him being blinded by hatred and bigotry . His uncovered eye is looking down at Danse with disgust, disbelief, and disappointment. The warmth and pride he had for Danse is completely gone from his heart.
He holds a blade to Danse’s throat symbolizing what he does if you don’t save Danse + Excalibur reference.
Danse being a loyal soldier and believing in the Brotherhood refuses to move from harms way.
He clings to the Brotherhood even if It means his death. He would gladly die for the Brotherhood and willingly accepts the death that Arthur wants to bring upon him.
Maxson cradles Danse’s face as a tender yet controlling gesture. Holding him in a position that makes it more difficult to escape death.
Then we have Dance giving a weak Brotherhood salute.
He firmly holds his holotags as not only something to give the Sole Survivor but also, like rosary beads. Praying to a false god that won’t have mercy for him or save him from his own personal hell.
Then the kudzu that surrounds them is symbolic of how the invasive the Brotherhood is with their presence and ideas.
It being an invasive plant that covers and overtakes everything, so does the Brotherhood and as Danse once said “There’s Brotherhood and then there’s everything else, nothing in between.”.
Also, even though this plant is in the south eastern part of the USA there’s rare small patches of it in Massachusetts. But, this is also because this is the east coast Brotherhood and some cemeteries in the south get covered by this stuff so, yeah… symbolism 😊

A slight redesign update from the last time I drew Carmen. Had some fun with this one, as I got to add more details than I did last time. Also, she's older now~
I reblogged her late last year and my 2024 has been very satisfying work-wise and (secure enough to not stress out) money-wise so far. Money Snake is wise and good.
Look I decided to make one of my OCs involved w Namor so I had to figure out how to draw him bc of it. He is very stinky. Stinky fish bastard man. (I read the Hickman’s Avengers and ZDarsky’s Invaders and I hate that I like his character. He’s like. The worst ever. I hate his ass. But like- I love him.)
This is ideas and thoughts for my version of Namor (I’m still slowly reading through the comics so I apologize if things are off from his character in comics.)
As a baby Namor had a BUNCH of blubber and baby fat. It kept him warm in the freezing depths of the ocean. This idea came from reading the entries for Atlantis the Marvel anatomy book but also from baby seals.
Also he would have a lot of temper tantrums growing up because of the imbalance of air and water messing with his lungs causing slight pain, irritation, or discomfort. When he was around the age of 10, he found out he could breathe air for the first time.
also this doodle of baby Namor (my friends and I couldn’t stop giggling at this, boy is an adorable chonky baby. One of them also said Fen’s father would be like “GOOD LORD! I know you were a baby with a lot of blubber Fen but, goodness.”)
The next idea I have is about his nose piercing. He got bit by a deep sea fish as a kid. And since it healed leaving a tiny hole in his nose,his mother decided to cover the scar with a beautiful jade piercing.
Also his pupils are a mix of Atlantian and human shape making a water droplet shape. While he has good eye sight, it takes longer to adjust between dark and light and water and land. In water his eyes have a translucent nictitating membrane (extra eye lid) that keeps his eyes safe underwater.
Also with his ears, they have a special muscle on the inside to keep water from damaging his ear drums.
Design wise for my version of Namor. The top part of his beard is inspired by wave peaks and the bottom part of his beard is inspired by icebergs. Also his hair being long and wavy (🌊). He has long black claws for protection and quickly hunting sea food in emergencies. Also his gills on his stomach area and on his neck are inspired by frilled sharks!
His ankle “wings” are actually fins. His ear gauges are not only for “royal decoration” but, they lay more flat and flush with his body so that when swimming there’s less chance of being snagged on something. The only exception is the small hoop earring his cousin gave him. He has a marriage bracelet that shares a color scheme with his wife Lady Dorma. Lastly his sea shell belt has his parents names carved into the back side of the shell.
Also, my version of Namor is 5’ 3” (short king fr 💜) but his family and pretty much all Atlantians are undersea giants ranging in heights from the smallest 7’ to the tallest 10’. His mother is 9’ 1” in her pure Atlantian form and her human disguise (because magic potion) she is 5’ 10 - 5’ 11.
Namor’s father is 5’ 6”. And… I gotta work on more height charts.

(Also side note. With self insert shipping, Namor’s late wife has her memory loved and respected. But, I’m keeping my self insert shipping completely separate from all of this and I won’t tag the main Namor tags out of respect.)
I’m still working out an idea for a deep sea form for him. It would be luminous but also parts of his body (back side and chest) would become a dark red since that’s the color a lot of deep sea life takes to protect itself. Also glow in the dark claw hands? Anyone?
For Atlantis, I believe it sits somewhere within the twilight and midnight zones of the ocean with outpost and towns sprinkled across different ocean zones and regions.
The language for Atlantians is spoken on special short wavelengths as the higher pitch can be heard better. Namor struggles with this at times because his vocal cords lean more towards human. Also sign language is commonly used alongside spoken language as currents, marine snow, and other situations may cause communication difficulties.
