Pétanque on Bainbridge Island - First Play on Jimmy's New Piste! by Mantis of Destiny Via Flickr: Jimmy and Frédo take a few shots for the camera on the first day of play at Jimmy's new pétanque piste. Jimmy and Frédo worked on it for three days, while I personally helped haul some gravel for 2-3 hours. I also personally scored the first points and won the first game... which earned me a spot on Jimmy's "Shoot First" list if I point in anywhere near the cochonnet. :-) However, at my skill level one can never overstate the importance of good luck.
