Hi my loves, I’m making this post because I just wanted to make sure there wasn’t any confusion on the unfollow I’ll be posting on the main soon, but I wanted to let you all know that I’m (sadly) going to be dropping Noelle and I’ll explain why under the cut ❤

So, lately I’ve had absolutely no muse for her, which is no one’s fault but my own, and I’m just not okay with this pattern I’m in of logging on her, forcing out a couple replies to make it seem like I’m being active, and disappearing again for a few days. Like... that’s not fair, y’all deserve better and especially as an admin, I need to just be honest with myself and you guys. I love, love, love all the plots I’ve gotten to have with her which makes dropping her so crappy but sometimes this happens and muse isn’t something you can fake and pretend to have so I hope where I’m coming from makes sense :( (this sounds dramatic as heck I know, just let me have my moment.. I couldn’t just NOT explain myself and it’s me we’re talking about so you know it’s gonna be extra)

That being said though, I’m not by any means leaving seaside! I’m still as in love with this group and all of you as I was in the beginning and so you’ll see me on the main all the time (more so now that I’m not having a crisis over what to do about Noelle.. yes I was having a crisis over this, just ask Nat) and who knows, if my Noelle muse magically restores itself or I (for sure) find muse for another character, maybe I’ll bring them here! But for now, I really think this is for the best. Since I won’t be on a character account anymore, I still wanna keep in touch of course so if anyone wants my Skype or anything like that, let me know and I’ll send you my username! I’d just put it here but it’s my full name SO YEAH BASICALLY I love you all a lot and this was another dramatic and long post from yours truly but what else would you expect? So I’ll end this here ❤ love you all lots and lots.

The air in Brighton was crisp and just the slightest bit chilly, as the seasons were changing and settling into the colder months. It was a nice shift from the summer, and Noelle always preferred this type of weather, anyways. She was standing near the entrance sign on the pier, looking down at her phone to check the time. Her favorite customer had come through Poppy’s earlier, and the two of them finally settled on a time and place to meet up after they got off work, just to catch up as exchanging a couple words in the store in between other customers checking out wasn’t exactly the most convenient form of communicating. It had been weeks since Noelle had really hung out with Charlie and she was grateful for the customer-turned-friendship scenario that seemed to be unfolding. She couldn’t plan these types of things happening if she tried, but that was the beauty of it, in her mind. She smiled to herself, picking her head up to take a glance around as the sea breeze blew her hair in every direction possible, waiting to see if she could pick her friend out in the crowd.

NOELLE: hm.. probably? how bad it is? was there a lot of blood? i don't know, i'd go just in case...

NOELLE: i have a bike.. and the front tire is almost flat. same thing tho right?

“is it horrible to say that i really hate it when groups of teenagers come into the diner ?” cautious words aren’t exactly undetectable as she cringes. “some of them are fine ! but – i don’t know. most of them are just a pain, and i know they’re doing it on purpose. you know, they’ll try and get me to break character or something, or they’ll ask for something ridiculous and specific and then kick up a fuss when i give it to them. like — today, some lad asked for fries. fine. i can do that. that’s really not anything spectacular. but he asked for chocolate sauce, as well. and i thought he was pulling me leg, but he said that he likes to put chocolate sauce on his chips. so, i mean, i got it for him, and — right, we usually have ketchup and stuff in those squeezey bottles, but funnily enough, we don’t really do that for chocolate sauce. so, i spoke to one of the cooks and ended up putting some of the sauce from the kitchen into what i’m pretty sure was an eggcup, and then when i got to their table, he made a big fuss of it and asked why on earth i brought him chocolate sauce for fries. i mean, i can fully appreciate the fact he was pulling my leg, but it’s only funny if you go along with it while i’m still at the table and i ask ‘are you sure ?’ and they go ‘no, i’m only joking’ — i don’t need to be made fun of by a group of fifteen year old boys,” she had enough of that when she was fifteen. “why someone would ever humiliate someone else just to make their friends laugh is – that’s just ridiculous. who knew i’d ever miss answering the phone for a care agency ?“ she also misses her old bed, but that’s not relevant.

“freya... you deserve better,” noelle has to agree that teenagers can be cruel, and the younger they are, the more devilish they are. she’s sure with the job freya has she runs into all kinds of different people... and unfortunately, that means obnoxious fifteen year olds. “to be honest, i think they feel like they have to publicly humiliate people as if they level up every time they pull it off or something like that,” she shrugs, having her fair amount of run-ins with kids who don’t know when enough is enough. heck, noelle herself was a teenager just up until last year and she would never think of acting like that to someone. she’d gain nothing out of it, and neither would anyone else. if only she could read minds.. maybe then she’d understand what makes others think differently. “maybe karma will come back for them... i’ll cross my fingers for your sake.” she adds on, a sympathetic smile on her face.

what is your biggest dream?

to be happy. like, really, truly, happy. and to be content with how my life is, and not always wishing and wanting it to be something else. i think that’s the real dream-- waking up every morning feeling happy with where you are and feeling at peace with yourself and everything around you.

hm.. maybe pink? y’know, like that rose gold color? i don’t know if that’s too cliche or not, but i think it looks so nice and soft.

Aubrey was pruning the roses when the bell to the shop rang and although every part of her hoped her cheeks wouldn’t turn red at the mere thought of human contact, they still did. “Is there ,uh, anything I could maybe help you with?”

Noelle had just re-entered the shop after making sure the displays outside still looked perfect, and the pesky sea breeze hadn’t knocked anything over or out of place, and she walked over to Aubrey once she noticed her. “Me? I’m good, I think...” she smiled, “What’cha doing? You need any help?”

Gemini’s first flower delivery had gone bad–oh so bad. She’d mixed up quite a few orders and completely threw off their system, leaving customers angered and G almost fired. But thankfully she was given another chance. Today’s delivery was simple, just a bouquet of lilies to a residence not so far away. She set the bouquet in the passenger seat of her car and pulled up the address on the navigating app on her phone. It was a short ride, thank goodness. As she drove through the streets she practiced what she was going to say out loud. Gemini had just perfected the statement as she pulled up to the residence. She quickly grabbed the bouquet and giddily skipped up to front door. As she repeated the statement in her head, G knocked on the door three soft times and rang the doorbell. She was feeling confident and was feeling that the odds of her messing up this time would be low. Though as soon as the stranger opened the door she squeaked out the first thing that came to her mind. “Any chance you were expecting some flowers?” Gemini gritted her teeth, wondering how in the world the well rehearsed statement came out as a squeaky question. She awaited the stranger’s reply, afraid of what they may have to say.

The knock on the front door just caught her off guard a little bit. Noelle rarely had visitors nowadays, let alone ones she wasn’t expecting. She wasn’t even home that often herself for it to be possible to have people over, so the sound was a bit more foreign that she’d like to admit. But surprises aren’t all that bad, right? She opened the front door, not expecting to see her coworker holding a bouquet of lilies in her hand. “Flowers?” Noelle repeated, sounding a bit hopeful, although maybe that was the wrong response. She wasn’t expecting flowers-- besides, she’d probably know if they were being sent to her, anyways, but her default expression was excitement, apparently. “I mean-- no, I wasn’t,” she snapped out of it, sadly, but offered a smile to the other girl standing in front of her. “Unless I ordered them for myself and forgot about it...” She was joking, but, hey, she wouldn’t completely put it past herself.
