“Since I can’t read music and everything, I find out that I do the best when I just listen to where I’m trying to go with it, and where it can go, and not try to rush it, not try to make up things as I’m going necessarily, just let them come out, then I’m a lot better off. If I start trying to pay attention to where I am on the neck, and this is the proper way to do this or that, ya know, then I end up thinking that thing through, and instead of playing from my heart I’m playing from my mind, and that’s where I find I get in trouble. If I just go with what’s in my heart and let it come out, then I’m OK.” ~Stevie Ray Vaughan

Good evening
This could've been an oil painting. But it's just my view through the bus window heading to work.

What I love doing
I consider myself a pretty creative person. Sometimes I have a bit of a creative outlet in music, art or film. Specifically I love editing film. Why? When I’m in control of editing a film I go in to my “sphere” if you may. I put together the bits and pieces that’s been collected over a specific course of time to create a masterpiece. My masterpiece.
Back in 2010, I was playing games with a local friend who had learned about how you could make montages of your gameplay using an editing software called Sony Vegas. I got hold of the software, and to no surprise, Sony Vegas was complete greek to me. I had no idea how the timeline worked, how you changed the velocity of the clips etc. But after learning the most crucial bits and pieces, shortcuts and such in Sony Vegas I began to make short film or montages. They certainly wasn’t the best around but I felt such joy making them I wanted to expand my knowledge in filmmaking. The minutes that you sit and cut out clip by clip to create a film are the most joyful minutes for me. I absolutely love it. For years I kept editing whatever I could edit, learned more and even switched my line of education from engineering to filmmaking. I spent two years in high school making film, learning about film, getting to know some of the best friends around. Then I began to attent University, where I dug deeper into theoretical film knowledge. My aim is to work with editing film, I have nothing else in mind but I know I have to work myself up the ranks within the business to get there. Soon I’m there, and soon I will work with what I love for hopefully the rest of my life.
Today I was out filming for a project at the University. The project is a film about gambling addiction for Spelberoendes Riksförbund in Sweden. In the film there is supposed to be a montage filled with Las Vegas-themed things. A few seconds we wanted to have some kind of sports car, so I asked my good friend William if I could film his Ford Mustang for the project and he gladly agreed to it. As a kind gesture back I snapped a few photos and quickly edited them for him, I kinda like them!
Was out for a walk this evening and couldn't resist from snapping a few photos of the sky and lake looking like something out of the Volvo commercial "Vintersaga". Anyways, the lake is "Stora Aspen" in Fagersta, Sweden.
