Greetings, Spectators! Weāve got another update on the Dangan Ronpa Lab Experiment Podcast!
The boss and I have cast everyoneĀ except for Byakuya Togami and Ishimaru Kiyotaka!Ā There were unfortunately very few auditions for both roles, and we feel like there is something lacking for both character auditions that we need to have clarified. Therefore, we are re-opening auditions for both parts until Thursday, October 3rd.Ā
You may audition for one or both parts, but unless a special case occurs, you will only be cast for one role or the other.
Additionally, I have set new guidelines for Togami and Ishimaruās audition criteria, so please follow them when submitting your auditions!
Byakuya Togami
We are looking for a distinctively male voice. Our reference voice for him isĀ Eric Stuart as Seto Kaiba from the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime.Ā Additionally, weāre looking for the voice to sound slightly smoother and less gravelly than the reference voice. Pitch and intonation should be similar or very slightly higher than the reference voice. You may find many references to Kaibaās English voice on YouTube.

Kiyotaka Ishimaru
Again, we need a distinctively male voice for this part. Our voice reference for Ishimaru isĀ Johnny Yong Bosch as Yu Narukami from the Persona 4 anime.Ā However, instead of a monotone voice, we now want the voice to sound far more strained, as if the speaker is having major difficulties in forcing their words to come out. Here is a reference to Yuās English voice.

Chihiro nodded a bit, as any drastic head movements tugged at his wires, and in turn hurt very much. Naegiās advice was good, but Chihiro wasnāt sure if he could do that. But, either way he nodded, if only for Naegiās sake.Ā
"Y-Yes, Iāll d-do that. Thank you, Naegi-kun. Y-You should heed y-your o-own words."
Naegi chuckled dryly,"I..I should,Shouldn't I? I guess..I'll try that." He nodded. these tone of words felt strange coming from Naegi. when did he ever speak like this ? He simply answered his own question with a shrug.

"Y-Yes.." Naegi mumbled as he looked up at the other."are you comfortable like thatā¦? well.comfortable as you can beā¦?"
"I seeā¦" He pondered for a moment. "Comfortable in this position? Why, I am as comfortable as a puppet could be! If thatās possibleā¦ Anyhow, how have things been for you? Have you met anyone? Have you seen Kyoudai? Please tell me Kyoudaiās alright!!"
"Ive seen who I could see..Some arenāt allowed out,and I donāt talk for long with anyone,I just try to check and see if everyoneās doing alright..Oowada-Kun..Heās..alive.." He wasnāt sure how else to describe it. Ishimaru must had been stuck there,there probably wasnāt a way for him to see anyone else unless someone came to see him."Heās..been experimented on as wellā¦"
Ishimaru listened to what his friend had to say, and spoke up when Mondo was mentioned. āThank goodnessā¦ I was soā¦ I was quite nervousā¦ Did everything go well with the experimentā¦?ā
"I guess so..He's alive so I'm pretty sure thats good..he's like some human electric circuit now.There's a electricity all around him now."Naegi did his best to describe Mondo's appearance. He couldn't just let Ishimaru wonder sit there,wondering on what happened to their friends.
Webbed hands pressed flush against the clear tankās side, a curious green face peering out between them. His gills fluttered for a moment before he swam upwards, breaking the waterās surface and clinging to the edge of his tank. Looking around, he strained what he believed m-must be his ears now, trying to make out the voices he could have sworn he heard only moments ago.
Was he mistaken? Was he going crazy? Heh, that didnāt seem like much of a stretch though. He had to be crazy to believe that he actually looked like what he appeared to. Souda reached over and pinched his arm, just checking that the pain was still just as real as it had been last time, and the time before that, and the time before that. As the sting of the pinch swelled up, so too did that crushing feeling in his chest. But dammit, hadnāt he sworn heād s-stop b-blubbering like a baby?
His hands clenched the edge of the tank as he calmed down, deciding a distraction may be in order.
"Hey, is somebādy out there?"
While on his daily route of visiting the others,Naegi couldn't help but notice,something different. He went to Asahina's area,and it turned out,his suspicions were correct,there was another tank,not too far from hers. Then,he herd a voice.
Carefully,Naegi made his way over,slightly surprised at the sight. Another student had been tortured and forced through another experiment,just like him and his friends.
"..." Naegi didn't say anything at first,he didn't know what to say. Finally after a little while,he spoke."...hello...I'm Naegi Makoto..or..Experiment 14 if you want to get technical around here.."

He felt some rage build up inside him,he knew he couldn't do anything,he knew that she was cruel,but trying to act like she had done nothing to him and his friends at all."I wouldn't know...I don't look like me anymore because of you."
