Kyla smirked underneath the mask as she sprinted off towards where she could sense the demon would be. She couldn't stop herself from tackling them, it took a moment or two but she soon had them on the ground, eyes looking deep in to theirs.

He knelt next to the demon with the blessed weapon in hand. Despite that the prey didn't say a single word back to either of them.

The bar was busy tonight , it was not normally so busy but forwhatever reason it was . The bar was anything but a dive. located on the top floor of a 10 story building , the bar was classy yet casual . Lily sat at the bar and kept glancing behind her . She was shattered but she did not want to go home

The chase lead the both of them to a rundown shack deep in the woods, all signs and smells revealing the demon's presence.

The two of them continued to make their way deeper in to the forest, it seemed like the other demon might have heard the two of them and went for any safety that they could get. However, there was no escaping with the two of them on their trail.

The two of them stopped outside a shack nestled deep in the forest. She looked at him and gave him a nod, indicating that the demon was indeed in there.

A blessed weapon of this caliber wasn't easy to acquire. Any priest can bless a letter opener on their spare time but a dagger blessed by a Cardinal of the Vatican is something different. Powerful enough to send a greater demon back to the hells, Laurence would plunge the blade into the host body and banish the pinned demon without a single wound on the hapless human it inhabited.

So she moved beside him, watching as he plunged the blade into the body, leaving nothing but it. "So, what should we do with the body?" She asked, tilting her head as her eyes glared at it.

Having to bring her along with him wasn't the plan but he honestly couldn't afford to let her leave at this point. She had seen too much. Something had to be done about it. He moved one of his bags out of the passenger seat so she could sit comfortably before letting the car's old engine roar to life.
