Happy pride from me!! I have a quick message that I don’t see in a lot of queer posts recently, that I think is really important and we should include in our posts about pride and queerness.
you don’t have to be visibly queer, to be queer. This is something I struggle with a lot, as an invisible well passing trans man, but there’s something I need people to understand. If the queer community still feels like you’re being put into boxes or archetypes, you aren’t experiencing the genuine queer experience.
I don’t need to be a provider as a butch! I don’t need to love femmes as a butch! I don’t need to use she/her pronouns and I don’t need to be gender presenting non conforming. My inability to be strong, my lack of attraction to femmes, and the fact that I identify as a boy does not make me less butch.
The entire point of being queer, is to break the chains of conformity. And it’s okay if you can’t do that, it’s okay if you’re invisible, hiding, passing, or closeted. these things do not make you less queer. Nothing can make you less queer.

I don’t think I ever recovered from Apollo and Ny.
They neglected me and would actively tell me all the bad things I was doing, how bad I was, they would straight up insult me, sometimes and blame it on other alters.
Ny never spoke to me, and would always bring Apollo first, he wouldn’t even acknowledge me.
Apollo made me do so much for him. Things that I will never come back from, I had never felt more used than with Apollo. Convincing me my addictions weren’t bad, and encouraged me to only get worse.
And the way I responded was trying to recover after leaving them, to then get in a new relationship, and act JUST like them.
I don’t know why I did what I did, but I know I won’t ever let myself do it again.
I still get reminded of Apollo and any sometimes.
But I can’t tell if it’s reminders from other people, or myself.
