Since apparently I have to specify: WHEN I SAY FEMME I'M TALKING ABOUT LESBIANS. its honestly insane how some of you completely dissociate femme culture from lesbianism when it’s clearly rooted in and created for lesbians. femme is a specifically lesbian identity, and it’s so weird to appropriate it or try to redefine it as something bisexual or even straight.

it just shows how much the lgbt+ community dismisses lesbian culture and lesbian struggles. everything that’s ours is constantly being sexualized, ignored, or stripped away from us.
