How long has ark been collecting snow globes? Adding onto that, does he have a favorite?

technically he started collecting before he was even born because the collection was originally his moms! His mom and dad used to travel a lot so every time they went somewhere new, they tried to get a super specific regional snow globe to commemorate the trip lol. After Ark was born, they started including him in the collection (he also has a soft spot for knick knacks in general haha)

it was never like. a massive collection, but enough that they only ever had a couple out on display at a time and then swapped them out from season to season.

after Roy (Ark's dad) died, the snow globes got boxed up and they didn't get put out for years. When Ark moved out, his mom insisted he take at least the ones they got for him and he relented, if only to keep them in a box in a closet and ignore them entirely for a couple years. He doesn't start putting them out again until his sister offhandedly makes a comment about it to his boyfriend Nick, who ends up getting a couple for him since he's always traveling.

He doesn't really have a "favorite" because most of them are associated with a variety of memories that he could wax poetic about on a whim. But his first was technically a tacky ceramic snow globe from Seattle his grandparents got for him when he was born lol

Part 1 of my code veronica redesign project that i technically started over 3 years ago, but only recently got any actual work done on (i am manifesting)

So here's the protagonists! A couple additional notes: I know they'd literally just use her RE2 remake actress' face but i still tried to blend that with her revelations face and her OG code veronica face. For Chris, I tried to de-age his RE8 face model. And since the modern games use modified face actors, I ended up referencing Miles Robbins (particularly from the quarry) for Steve :)

I rushed to post this earlier in the week in case news of the remake dropped and now I have multiple people in my inbox across several platforms congratulating me on the remake as if I personally willed it into existence ❤️

#I popped a little for the reveal but I think I will pop way harder when the next trailer comes out with gameplay or more characters #it doesn’t feel real still 😭#prayer circle that it’s good and slow and made for third person 🙏

how do you get that Look to your lineart? it's so nice

if you are referring to the "slightly colored lines" look, I made a quick explainer for it here!

if that is not what you are referring to, then the only other things of any note i do with lineart are: 1) i use a pencil/slightly textured brush (related post about my brushes used here) and 2) i actually have pen pressure tied to both opacity and size so pressing harder makes lines more opaque/thicker and pressing lighter makes lines more transparent/thinner :)

Heeeeeey, I recently made my first drawing based on your tips on how to draw werewolves and I'm proud of the result, however there are some VERY noticeable errors to be honest. I don't know if you'd like me to correct them or give me some advice to change or correct some things. It is rather curious since it's more of a hybrid between a werewolf and a goat (it's based on a friend's OC and since he's a demon, I also based the transformation on one of my OCs, the reason why it doesn't have much hair and only in specific areas). As always, thank you for your patience and for answering me, I really admire you a lot and I wouldn't know what to do if there wasn't an artist as great as you. (My apologies for the translation and for asking again, haha, I feel like I'm a bit annoying with this, also for the quality and the similarity with your style, I based myself a bit on your drawings to draw it, to be honest. Sorry again if I have bothered you.)

but this looks awesome!!!! i think the hooves are an excellent design choice and you clearly already know a lot about anatomy! I dont think there's anything you need to change about anything, it's just a matter of practicing what you're already doing really well!

but if you'd like actual critique that is immediately actionable, I can certainly try my best to give a couple notes!
