(Alright, todays’ the day friends! I have officially MOVED Homura to a new blog and set it all up, from now on that’s where she’ll be!

This decision to move was hard, and while I am preserving all relations and interactions, it’s kind of difficult to leave this blog behind, though i will promise to frequent  here to relive good memories, it’s become too overwhelming with bad ones to continue rping here…sorry.

As I said, I’m keeping all interactions and such over on the moved blog, and i did tweak Homu a little bit, I dropped the whole adult appearance since the editing took too long so my apologies, anyway, i hope to see you all on the new blog and pick up where we left off there!

(So one of the changes I want to make on the new blog is a lot of visual cues concerning Homura’s identity crisis. Meaning her mental age and maturity vs her physical, since she isn’t going to be as vocal and liberal about her devil powers anymore, so she still has to look presentable around people, and a 14 year old trying to do 26-28 year old things[ like alcohol seeing as Homura picked up a drinking habit, it’s nothing TOO severe she isn’t like a super drunk or alcoholic but she does drink more than just occasionally because it takes the edge off] isn’t going to be acceptable. Also because tbh, Homura sees herself as an adult by now because of the time passed and her trauma, and it’s really jarring to look in a mirror and have a little girl staring back at you, especially when it gets meta in that when you see the girl looking back at you, it’s the pigtailed, glasses-wearing, full of hope and shy nervousness girl you essentially killed to make it this far anyway.

So I like to think that Homura kinda aged her physical body up to an inbetween point, where she looks older than 14 to do her grown up things, but not EXACTLY 26 so to speak, but seeing as there’s no “Grown up Homura” icons, I was kinda thinking of using Mikasa Ackerman or Rukia Kuchiki as face claims, likely Mikasa as she seems to preserve the general Homura feel and expression range but look a lot older.

I ran this by some people and got mixed responses, some liked the idea a lot, others found it awkward, and I’m kinda torn. I’ve seen others use “face claims” for canon characters all the time, especially for AU’s but idk if anyone would support me doing it.

I’d still use normal Homura icons on occasion, say around her younger ship partners and times of vulnerability or when she’s feeling nostalgic, but idk.)

(So, as most of you have seen, I’ve been inactive for quite some time here. It’s been because of a lot of factors, mostly that being on this blog causes me a lot of undue stress from all the negativity associated with it.

But I can’t just drop Homura, she’s a very important muse to me and almost an extension of myself in some regards, so don’t worry, I’m not dropping her, rather I’m changing the environment for her.

This blog is going to be archived soon enough, I’m going to be MOVING/REMAKING Homura on another blog so that she gets a fresh start and a good environment without all the baggage and drama this blog caused.

ALL SHIPS AND TIES AND INTERACTIONS WILL BE PRESERVED.

That is if you want them to be, if you’d like to take this opportunity to get a fresh start, that’s okay too. I’m doing this because her ships with @pockylovingmagicalgirl and @curtus-patronus are too precious for me to redo or let go. As well as friendships with like @little-matoi and such.

I am also going to be fine tweaking some aspects of Homura’s character and making changes to break her into being Canon-Divergent/AU, so she won’t be EXACTLY the same as she is here, she’ll be softer in some areas and harder/darker in others.

She’ll have a new blog and URL, and I’ll promo her here when the time comes, until then. I hope most of you are still around and that I’ll see you on the other side when Homu and I move.

Has already been drinking since like, 10 minutes ago...since it’s one of those days. It’s just wine though, nothing serious...except a lot more wine than normal.

She’s already like mentally 26 so it’s perf okay, on top of that she can make herself undrunk/less drunk in like a snap, and it’s not like alcohol poisoning could kill her anyway so.

So Homura’s interacting with a pre-series Kyoko...like one that still has her family...before the incident.

And that is not gonna go over well, it already isn’t, but yeah...

Homura gets unintentionally bitter at people who have happy families, because...you know, she never had one herself. It’s something that to be honest she never really notices, because most of the main cast besides Madoka and Sayaka don’t have their families, she hates Sayaka period, and never goes over to Madoka’s house. So the bitterness is covered by something else.

So she can’t really identify it tbh, and will call it something else first before actually realizing it later.)
