I worked on redesigning some old fan-characters I made a while back into original designs since for some reason inspiration struck. None of these designs are 100% set in stone. I also did some experimenting with one of the brushes while I was at it.

I thought I’d give my self-avatar character a new outfit since I was starting up a new project with her. I’ve started undertaking the Homunculus Nightmare challenge, which you can find here, if you’re interested in that.

So I finally decided to remake my Self-Avatar sprite to meet with the standards of the other characters I’ve sprited in this particular style.

This incarnation, I think they look pretty! The sprite is scaled up for this picture, obviously.

I've been meaning to sing this for weeks now and only just got around to it this evening, but here it is. It was actually pretty fun to put together, albeit time-consuming. And yes, I did all the voices by myself, as good or bad as that ended up being.

So I've been wanting to establish a new aesthetic for my self-avatar character for a while; something distinctly non-human. After messing with a cute squidsy thing and some other weird creature that evades description, I think I've settled on "decaying shadow," as I called it in my sketchings. They’re a shadow with a flexible mask and hair and idk I think it looks kinda neat.

So yesterday I started drawing 250x250 px icon things for the Siblings because WHY THE HECK NOT RIGHT and this ended up being the result, as if they were profile pictures in some sort of RPG.

I know I could have been more interesting with the backgrounds but whatever.
