We finally get confirmation of Fellow’s age! (He had previously said in Playful Land that he was 20-something.)

I love that Fellow’s best subject is math Deuce is jealous/j; it makes so much sense given that his inspiration, Honest John (and Fellow himself) aren’t good at reading. It’s that whole “kids are either good at math or English” stereotype. His dislike being saving money is also related; he spends what he has right away to get by in the moment. Fellow doesn’t really have the skill or the luxury of financial planning, he has to focus on the here and now, looking out for both himself and Gidel.

OMG, his favorite and least favorite foods???? 😭 Playful Land has apple (core) flavored candies and popcorn… and again, this is a reference to Honest John and Pinocchio’s first encounter! He takes the kid’s apple and eats it, lol cnsvwiwguwkw Potatoes being his disliked food… Maybe it’s because it’s the “poor” man’s vegetable? Because potatoes are so versatile, keep for a long time, and are filling because of the starch content, Fellow might resort to eating them a lot, so perhaps as a result he got sick of the taste.

What I find most interesting about Fellow’s profile are his listed hobby and special skill. He largely comes off as despicable and a slimy scammer (which he is, don’t get me wrong), but we can see different sides to him in these details—both the inner child that had his dreams trampled but remains hopeful about the future and the big brother figure/guardian to a child. Gidel is actually formally referred to in Fellow’s profile as his (non-blood related) brother, which made my heart melt 🥺 TWST must know I have a thing for beastmen who act shitty but are actually excellent mentors to the children/j

Fellow enjoys watching theater. It’s a way of transporting you away temporarily to new worlds with crazy stories and emotional performances. When words aren’t enough, you sing. And when singing isn’t enough, you dance. It’s an area that’s so full of life and joy, at least from the audience’s perspective. I’m thinking that watching theater must have been a form of escapism for Fellow, especially with how accessible it is (think of like street performances). Watching theater might also serve a dual purpose of teaching Fellow how to come across as amicable and friendly, which says a LOT about his character. He’s resourceful and able to learn from unconventional sources, then is able to apply those skills to real world situations.

Fellow’s special skill being sewing is surprisingly very cute! If you’ve taken one look at his and Gidel’s designs, we may have already spotted some of his handiwork. There’s mismatched fabric patches on their clothes!! The stitches look so clean too. The patterns not matching is probably because Fellow just used whatever scraps he was able to get his hands on, but I also like to imagine that he tried to make the best of the situation by incorporating the mismatched fabrics in a fun way (like the diamonds in his pants).

Next, can we talk about the composition of that GROOVY????

It’s another reference to the same Pinocchio scene! Fellow’s holding his book like Honest John did and it looks like he’s trying to teach Gidel the alphabet from words scratched on the sidewalk. Notice how the C is written backwards too 😂

And Gidel!!! Pencil and pad of paper in hand, he looks so interested to learn (something which was hinted at in Playful Land). Gideon in the film is also shown with a pen and pad of paper, scribbling down nonsense as Fellow pretends to diagnose Pinocchio.

Gidel glances up at Fellow with an expression of admiration. I love how wholesome their relationship is depicted as, it leaves a warm feeling in the heart.

The framing of this Groovy is very interesting. We have Fellow to our left—a direction has historically been associated with evil (in Italian, the word for left is even sinistra, as if to imply something sinister) and in the darkness. Gidel is the one to our right and in the light. It presents Fellow to us as someone who has given up on his dreams—but not completely, since we see some light touching his hat, gloves, and highest features + he is currently teaching Gidel and still has dreams of opening his own school. Gidel is shown in the light because he’s still a naive child that doesn’t understand how the world works. His dreams haven’t been destroyed yet, and there’s hope for him to have a better life since Fellow is looking after him and instructing him.

CHECK THIS OUT, GIDEL FOLLOWS FELLOW TO CLASS LIKE MARY'S LAMB OR SOMETHING????? Gidel pops out from under the desk or out of/behind Fellow's cape! Gidel also joins Fellow on the homescreen.

Some of Fellow's expressions are so priceless... For example, look at him in Flight! There's an unsure face and a little bead of sweat. (He makes a lot of pathetic accompanying sounds too, lol) Flying takes magic, so he's probably not confident or powerful enough to maintain flight for long stretches of time--though when he does nail it, he looks ultra smug.

His attack sprites are very similar/identical to what we saw in Playful Land--Fellow's just playing for the opposite team now.

Gidel hops into battle to assist, so I guess they count as the first two-character card. It's been a while since I've seen these animations, but I think I can appreciate them a lot more now. I'm noticing new little things like how Fellow adds a bunch of showmanship into his attack, little flashy flourishes and even presenting Gidel with his arms splayed, as if welcoming a star to the spotlight. The attention to detail really is crazy for these.

If you want to read his voice lines in full, you can find an excellent fan translation of them here! I'll just be remarking on things I noticed while combing through the voice lines myself:

First off: bro calls himself Fellow Hones-SAMA???????? OKAY, KING 😭 Love that confidence you got goin' on there...

bifabsiyofbefe Love how he just reads a textbook and then flat-out admits he has no clue what the heck it's saying. Hey, honesty is a virtue.

Ace 💀 He has the balls to play a prank on an adult... I kind of want to know what the prank was, but at the same time I feel like I should be shaking my head and telling him off for doing it in the first place. I do appreciate that Ace being shitty brought out Fellow's true personality there for a second though, I live for it when Fellow gets real steamed and starts shouting that the NRC students are brats or that they should drop out if they have no motivation in school.

The way Fellow automatically clocked that Kalim is way too trusting and would surely be in danger even if he wasn't the one to come for him... Fellow, watch your back. Jamill WILL come for your sketchy ass for what you did back then.

I didn't find anything super interesting in Fellow's comments about Ortho, but I do think it reveals that there is value in him coming to school. It's only at NRC where Fellow can see such a curious thing like Ortho, and that speaks to the value of really going out there and being exposed to different things. That's part of Lilia's own growth arc too, and a large part of why he now spreads that same rhetoric.

Fellow remarks that Ramshackle is "pretty sweet", which means one of two things: either this is the refurbished post-book 6 dorm OR it's still the shabby pre-book 6 dorm, but since Fellow and Gidel have never really had their own stable housing, even run-down old Ramshackle seems like a massive upgrade.

Fellow and Gidel must have been so happy to see that lunch at NRC is free and served buffet style (so there's no limits to how much you can take). On top of that, they got dead chefs from 5 star restaurants staffing the kitchen! Those two really hit the jackpot, I hope they eat well.

AVUSDGVUADOVIAISDBIDAS THE DIALOGUE IMPLYING FELLOW CASUALLY BYPASSED THE SCHOOL'S BARRIER AND OTHER SECURITY MEASURES... So Chenya-core of him, really. Fellow may not have magical might, but he's seriously street smart to have found a way in like he has.

Small detail but I appreciate how Fellow has lines which call attention to Gidel. It doesn't just remind us that Gidel is there too, but it also demonstrates to us that Fellow actively tries to include him in the conversation despite Gidel's muteness (a condition which may lead others to outright ignoring him or talking down to him).

LAST THING (though it's not in MysteryShopTL's linked post): in his birthday greeting to the player, Fellow says that both you and him don't have talent for magic, so you should get along. I didn't think the game would acknowledge the player and Fellow's similarity in that sense, so it was very nice to be proven wrong.

And to finish off this post (which ended up being way more massive than I thought it would be), a quick summary of the vignettes!! If you want to read them in full, please check out MysteryShopTLs’ post!

In vignette 1, Fellow and Gidel are putting on a street performance in Silk City. Fellow collects fees from the onlookers and then tries to milk more out of them by spinning a story about how Gidel is a puppet that can walk without strings. Buuut Gidel moves like a normal living being and sneezes, which ruins the ruse and leads to the crowd getting mad at them. The duo run off, but Fellow reveals that while the locals were looking at Gidel, he used magic to steal some of their precious metals and jewelry. In the next vignette, Fellow and Gidel have moved on to Fairest City. It's said that they live a nomadic lifestyle and hop from place to place, never staying for too long in any one location because word of their scams may spread and cause a situation where they cannot reasonably make money through their lies. (Cute detail: Fellow listens to Gidel's suggestions on where they should go next and even praises Gidel's smarts.) This time Fellow's trying to auction off a magestone that he claims will allow anyone who holds it to use magic. The people of Fairest City don't believe him and give him the cold shoulder, which upsets Fellow (since he really hates it when others look down on him). He ends up using his UM to get his audience to be more pliant and manages to sell the magestone for a pretty penny. At the end of this vignette, Fellow drops a line about how he and Gidel are so free, how they can do whatever they want since they have nothing holding them back. I really love that thought~

AND IF YOU THOUGHT VIGNETTES 1 AND 2 WERE FUNNY HAHA TEEHEE CUTE, WAIT UNTIL YOU SEE VIGNETTE 3 💀 VIGNETTE 3 FELT LIKE IT WAS A TARGETTED SNIPE ON MY HEART

The setting is Sunrise City! Fellow and Gidel are being chased off by an angry person they tried to rob. It looks like they're unsuccessful today and will be going hungry. Gidel tries opening a random can of OIL in search of food, so Fellow scolds him and tells him to leave it be. Apparently Gidel does this a lot when he's hungry (just grabbing random shit and trying to eat it), even though Fellow has tried teaching him how to read. THIS IS WHAT THE CONTEXT OF THE GROOVY IS, FELLOW SQUATS DOWN (like we literally see his 2D model lowering) AND DRAWS IT ON THE GROUND FOR GIDEL TO SEE. O is for orange, I is for ice-cream, and L is for laugh. Fellow realizes that L is the only non-food word, but he couldn't come up with anything else. I wonder if like... this is some common game they do to distract from hunger. They have to imagine the food they could have but can't. And L being "laugh"? That can't be a coincidence. Fellow could have used any other L word as an example, even if he couldn't come up with a food that starts with L. It makes me think he picked "laugh" on purpose in an effort to lift Gidel's spirits and to try and distract from their circumstances.

Aaaah, as I was saying! Fellow gets upset that he doesn't know as much as your average 26-year old would since he never went to school. Gidel seems to sense his frustrations and reassures him with a pat, which reenergizes Fellow. He says he'll try to find some food, so Gidel should focus on making a fire. While gathering wood to burn, they come across a job posting by a shady rich man that Fellow and Gidel supposedly did another job for in the past. Fellow suggests that they check out the job and if they don't like it then they can leave. ADSKJBBSLDIADBLUBAB These are the events leading up to Playful Land... meaning that Fellow’s showmanship is wasn’t something he developed at the amusement park, but as a general coping and survival mechanism to get by day-to-day.

I uh. May or may not have cried a little at Fellow and Gidel's really wholesome interaction 😭 I MEAN YEAH OF COURSE I'M A SUCKER FOR BIG BROTHER CHARACTERS (and we certainly see that in how Fellow scolds Gidel and looks out for his wellbeing, both in the vignettes and in Playful Land) but also???????? ? ? ? ? ?? ?????? ? ? ? ?? I love Love LOVE how Gidel is shown to be supportive of Fellow as well. Fellow as the older person, the adult, and the able-bodied one of the duo is pulling most of the weight when it comes to getting resources and handling communication. However, Gidel plays an important role in their dynamic as well. He's the heart and the emotional support that Fellow needs when he's down in the dumps and being hard on himself. Gidel not only serves as a "reason" for Fellow to work hard (to support a child), but he also gives Fellow motivation and hope that tomorrow can be another day. YOU CAN REALLY TELL HOW MUCH THESE TWO CARE AND LOOK OUT FOR ONE ANOTHER OTL

Book 7: The Ruler of the Abyss – Chapter 7 (Part 3)

Following is part 3 of my translation of Chapter 7 of Book 7: The Ruler of the Abyss. This part contains Episode 7-112 to 7-116. This concludes Chapter 7.

Episode 7-112

Idia: G-Get me outta heeeeeeere!! W-Why are Malleus-Shi and a Styx unit having a sudden death match in the middle of school?? And that getup, don't tell me… Malleus-Shi overblotted…!?

Ortho: Uwaaah!? The sky's splitting apart!?

Idia: Eep! W-What is it now!?

Malleus: …This dream is beginning to fall apart.

Ortho: Fall apart?

Malleus: You are not meant to exist within this dream. And now that you have appeared here before your older brother, his "happily ever after" will be no more. Little Shroud, I see now I've no reason to fight you. I can simply let you be consumed by the abyss, together with this crumbling dream.

(Malleus teleports away)

Idia: Huh!? W-Waaait! Malleus-Shi, t-take me with yoooou!!!!

Ortho: …Now I understand. I- This humanoid version of Ortho, I only exist because of what happened that day. And by being here in this dream world, where big brother is supposed to have his "happily ever after", I'm causing a temporal paradox!

(The Darkness appears)

Idia: Ugh! The heck's this black goop!? It- It's dragging me down…!

Ortho: Big brother! Here, take my hand! And don't let go!!

Idia: Dude, you're gonna rip my arm off…!!

(An alarm beeps)

Head Engineer: Or-kun, can you hear me? You need to get out of there!

Idia: Is that… Is that mom!?

Ortho: But I can't leave without big brother!

Head Engineer: The spell's formulation is being rapidly rewritten. If you stay there any longer, we'll lose your signal and you won't be able to come back! This is a direct order: retreat at once!!

Ortho: Ugh…!

Idia: Ortho? This unit is… Ortho…? AUGH! M-My head…!

Ortho: Big brother! No, don't let go of my hand…! Ah-!

(Idia is dragged down into the Darkness)

Idia: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!

Ortho: BIG BROTHER! I promise… I promise I'll come save you…!

Episode 7-113

Idia: What is… this place…? It's so cold… and dark… and lonely. This feels so… familiar. …I…

???: Oh, come on! We had that big, emotional goodbye, and now you're coming back already? Boooo. I dunno what's going on, but I can already tell this is gonna be a pain in the ass.

Idia: Huh? ….WHAT THE!? A PH-PHANTOM….!?

Ortho (Phantom): Yo, big bro. How's it going? Welcome to the Underworld! It's a little dark, a little gloomy, but hey, what are you gonna do?

Idia: Wh-…. WHAAAAAAT!? W-What in the actual hell, man!? First that virtual bishounen and that Styx unit kept calling me "big brother"… and now this friggin' huge ass phantom is calling me "big bro"!? M-My little brother is a good kid, and he goes to school at Royal Sword Academy… I think I'd remember having a pair of uber intense brothers like you guys, thank you!! Even for a nightmare this is way too much! Please, if this is a dream, just let me wake up already!!

Ortho (Phantom): Huh? I go to Royal Sword Academy? Ahhahahaha! Now that sounds like a nightmare to me. Or a delusion, even. Sorry, but Ortho's stuck in this gross ass pit, not at some gaudy school.

Idia: Y-You're lying… Ortho's an extrovert with tons of friends, and he-

Ortho (Phantom): Friends? Oh, yeah. I got lots of those. They're all phantoms, though, and all they ever do is moan and groan. Not big talkers, those guys.

Idia: That's impossible. T-There's no way Ortho's stuck in the Underworld! We're not even supposed to go down here! Ortho is… My little brother is…!!

Ortho (Phantom): …Big bro. It's not your fault I'm here. Stop blaming yourself already. Remember what you promised me? You said you wouldn't give up, you said you'd keep pushing on and fulfill all our dreams. Are you really just gonna curl up in a little ball and stay down here forever?

Idia: Our dreams…? …Augh..! My… head…!

(Idia has a flashback)

Ortho: We can leave for real this time and go far away.

Idia: …Just leave it to your big bro.

(The flashback ends)

Idia: Haaah, haaah… I-I remember now… This is where I…! A-aauugh!! That's right, there is where I… Aauuugh…!

(Idia lets out a guttural scream as he remembers everything)

Idia: …..How… How could I forget… How could I forget something so important to me… I remember… everything…!

Episode 7-114

Idia: This is where I overblotted… Me and Ortho were aiming for the stars but we… but our classmates smoked us… The fuck did I tell him "just leave it to your big bro" for… My little brothers are always having to swoop in and save the day for me. I'm such a fucking loser…

(Idia has a flashback)

Ortho: I need you to help me save the world, Idia Shroud!

(The flashback ends)

Idia: …Listen, I dunno know what the hell's going on, but I do know Ortho needs my help. I have to get out of here… I have to find him.

Ortho (Phantom): Oh-hoh, didja finally wake up? That's great and all, but, uh, aren't you forgetting one teensy-weensy, but ever so crucial, little tiny detail?

Idia: Huh?

Ortho (Phantom): You know the gate's only supposed to be one way, right? And as the King of the Underworld, I can't just let spirits come in and out here like they own the place. Don't wanna look bad in front of the other phantoms.

Idia: Heh heh… You got some balls calling yourself the King of the Underworld. You're the one who's forgetting something here, my guy. You remember that curse you have? No wait- that blessing. The one that burns all your blot… Well, I got it too. This place is like one massive buff for my ATK and Magic stats. I'm broken, dude! *breathes in, breathes out* Okay, just gotta envision, like, my ultimate form…! HAAAAAA!!!

(Idia forces himself to overblot)

Ortho (Phantom): What, you wanna fight me?

Idia: Okay, you little snot nosed brat. Your big bro's gonna show you who's boss!

Ortho (Phantom): Augh…! N-No, how could I lose…! The hell's going on!? It's like all the blot's under his control!?

Idia: Boom-bada boom, boom, boom! Ha ha ha! Oh, please. You gonna start crying for your mommy? If that's all you got, forget about calling yourself king, you cocky little shit. Imma take my throne back and you can be my substitute whenever I'm gone. New Achievement Unlocked: "King of the Underworld" title earned! Ahh Ha ha!!

Ortho (Phantom): Uuugh…!!

Idia: Aaaah haa ha! Aaaah ha haa! Ah-Auuughh… *cough cough* …. Haaah, haaah…. That's right. I'm not gonna let you be king of this gross place forever. And that's why I can't stay here forever, either. I have to go. Game, Set, Match. Gate to the Underworld!!

(The gate opens and Idia escapes)

Ortho (Phantom): ….Take care, big bro. All the stars in the sky are waiting for you out there.

Episode 7-115

(Beeep beeep)

Idia: …..Ugh, would ya shuddup… Who is it?

(Idia answers the phone)

???: Ah, you finally picked up. It’s morning already, come on.

Idia: …Who are you?

Ortho?: Who am I…? What, did you forget your own little brother? It’s me, Ortho.

Idia: Ortho? …Guess it was all just a dream….. Heh….. Heh heh heeeheeehee!!

Ortho?: Uh, is everything okay?

Idia: Those crazy good drop rates and pulls I've been getting, Muscle Red not giving up gaming anymore, me going to orientation in person…. It was aaaaalll just a dream! Yup, it was just 100% my otaku fantasies!

Ortho?: Umm… What the heck are you talking about?

Idia: Uh-uh, that's my line, bro. There's no way in hell my little brother would go to Royal Sword Academy, all the dumbass rainbows and sparkles would make him SICK. I only have two little brothers: The humanoid one that goes to NRC with me, and the other one who's down in the Underworld!!

Ortho?: !! W-Wait, big bro! Just listen to me!

Idia: I'm soooo sorry, but the only people I'm okay with calling me "big bro" are anime and video game characters. Like, who even are you? And who's in charge of this gross ass dream? Is this a hallucinogenic spell? Was I kidnapped by some evil org and they've got, like, a brain washing helmet on me? Whatever's going on, you guys need to get yourselves a new scenario writer, stat. 'Cause I mean, really? Resetting the dream just 'cause I didn't get the Good End? That is beyond lame. Listen, I don't care what happens. I'm the only one who gets to decide if I get my "happily ever after" or not!! Expect a strongly worded letter from me sent to your customer service department!! Bye!!

(Idia hangs up the phone)

Episode 7-116

Idia: …You there, Ortho?

Ortho: Welcome back, big brother. I'm surprised you made it back here all by yourself. We had a lot of trouble reentering your dream on our end.

Idia: Hey, Ortho. Lemme, uhh.. apologize first. I know I've hurt you a lot, and I… I'm really sorry.

Ortho: Before you continue, there's something I want to say, too… I went to outer space all by myself! And I had this totally awesome battle with Malleus-san, it was so cool. This whole time while you've been asleep, I've been going on all these amazing adventures. I bet they'd even put the hero of Star Rogue to shame! Now don't you think there's something else you should be saying to me besides "I'm sorry"?

Idia: …Ortho, that's amazing. I can tell how hard you've been working. You're, like, the coolest guy in the world in my book. You're kind of making your big brother look bad here, though.

Ortho: Heh heh! Are you even surprised though? Don't forget… I'm the world's foremost humanoid, made by the one and only mad genius himself!

Idia: Heh. Yeah, you're right. Maybe one day you and me really will take over the whole galaxy together… Joking, of course. Ok, with that out of the way…. Uhhh, I remember going to sleep and all, but could you maybe explain what the hell is going on!??

Idia: *siiiiiiiigh* I wanna say I totally understand everything you just said… But my brain, like, short circuited after you said mom went through all my stuff. Only other thing I've understood so far is Malleus-Shi went overboard with the cheat codes.

Ortho: M-Mom had too! It was an emergency! Please don't feel too down about it.

Idia: You gotta be kidding me, dude. There's no way she didn't see that and oh yeah that too… Uuuggh… Why… Why me… WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS!? I'm just an innocent bystander! I didn't even friggin' go to the farewell party!! So why!! Why did my mom have to look through my computer!! …Ugh, just make it make sense, man… I feel like I just took 50 billion points of psychic damage….

(Idia collapes to the ground)

Ortho: Erm, I mean, yeah. I don't think anybody could've seen this coming, and it's unfortunate what happened… B-But it's okay! Mom didn't even really say anything about what she saw on your PC, so…

Idia: NOOOOO! Stop, stop, stop! Her being nice about it just makes it a million times worse!! You guys are lucky I can't accumulate blot or else I'd totally be overblotting right now!!! Fucking hell, Malleus-Shiiiii!!! Oh, he is so not getting away with this! I bet he thinks he's soooo cool, but I'm not gonna rest until he's on his hands and knees with snot and tears running all over his face begging me for mercy! Now, let's see. What'll I do to him…. Eh heh heh heh!!

Ortho: Uh-oh, I'm almost scared to ask what you're planning… Heh. He really picked the wrong guy to mess with.

Idia: Heh heh… Dude's never even seen my final form before, and now that my Underworld training arc's over he doesn't even stand a chance. You wait right there for me, Malleus Draconia… I'm gonna expose every single fucking weakness you have and make you PAY!!!

The fact that Lilia found Silver all alone is curious tbh. Like, did the fairies' magic prevent silver from being moved and everyone was forced to ditch him? Did Heinrich willingly ditch his nephew or didnt want to leave him for whatever reason but had to (tho, considering that he's a jerkwad who sees everyone, even Knight of Dawn, as expendable, he probs thought Silver wasnt worth the hassle)? Where's Silver's mom?

It's actually not that strange that Silver was found alone in the castle! 😅 I do understand that this confusion may arise from there not being a fully detailed fan translation out at the moment, so I'll try to explain why this is. Firstly, let's talk about time frame. Lilia is coming across baby Silver ~17 years ago from present day. The war in which Lilia fought against the Dawn Knight was ~400 years ago. (The only reason Silver still appears young is because the sleeping curse cast on him must have prevented him from aging regularly until he awoke.) That means anyone that would have been alive 400 years ago is most certainly dead and/or wouldn't know of Silver's existence now. A lot of information gets lost to time. Shortly after Wild Rose Castle was seized by Heinrich, another conflict broke out (I believe it was a territorial dispute) which Lilia suspects claimed the lives of Heinrich, the Dawn Knight, and Leah (Silver's mom). So... sadly, they didn't die of natural causes. In fact, the Dawn Knight is confirmed to be dead (from a battle, I presume) in a flashback/memory sequence. The guardian fairies that cast the spell on Silver have dialogue which states the "Land of Swords" (ie where the Dawn Knight and his family hail from) has fallen and that Leah should flee. Again though, she's almost certainly no longer around. With the country now in shambles and their monarchs missing, it's safe to assume that the citizens themselves would be long gone (dead, absorbed into other countries, willingly leaving to search for opportunity elsewhere, etc). This would likely leave Wild Rose Castle abandoned and the surrounding area pretty abandoned.

Lastly (but still an important detail to consider), Lilia says that he senses residual magic coming off the thorns that cover the castle. He theorizes that diurnal fairies could have casted a spell to keep humans away from the area (though it's unclear whether the thorns are a part of the spell or not). Furthermore, Lilia mentions that humans believe the castle to be haunted, so not many try to get near it or to explore inside (which would also be pretty difficult to do for anyone that tried, since the thorns are a hassle to deal with).

Altogether, I think those are some pretty compelling and logical reasons as to why no one else stumbled across Silver before Lilia did. He was just lying there sleeping for 400ish years anyway, he's not really going anywhere by himself 😂 (Silver only seemed to wake up and cry when Lilia entered the castle, which I believe ties back into the condition set to break the curse: when he meets someone who is able to truly love him, it will be lifted and he will awaken.)

So before Chapter 7 Part 5 is released I wanna share this theory of mine

Basically how this goes is the fact that many time's have the Silver Owl People mistaken Silver for someone else

"oh you save us your- uh wait your not him"

Him?

Maybe referring to the Knight of Dawn

Or the times they almost called him "Your Excellency or Your Majesty"?

So my small theory goes that based on all these interactions and what we know so far on the Knight of Dawn is could be be the Current Prince of this country?

I mean-.....

LIKE WOULDN'T IT MAKE SENSE THAT THE STRONGEST MAN IN THEIR KINGDOM IS THIER FUTURE KING/PRINCE? LIKE AUGSYWUWUWU LIKE I FEEL THATS WHY SILVER MAYBE WAS MISTAKEN FOR HIM AND ALMOST CALLED "your majesty" HELLO? RINGING ANY BELLS? MEANING IF MY ANALYSIS ON THESE SCENES ARE RIGHT THE KNIGHT OF DAWN IS THE PRINCE OF THAT KINGDOM AND "TRUE" LEADER OF THE SILVER OWLS

I also believe his appearance may be similar to Silver except Blond hair and Aurora eyes

Like wouldn't it make sense for the strongest fighter in their kingdom to be their future leader?

Okay I literally wrote this as fast as I could and this was very likely because I don't have time after finding out the September schedule but basically I predict and I will not give evidence I'm just writing this very quickly but I predict that after waking up Lilia silver will wake up Idia!

-Lilia Lost His Magic to Hatch Malleus Theory-

Now now, I KNOW THIS SOUNDS CRAZY AND IT IS BUT PLEASE HEAR ME OUT

SPOILER'S FOR CHALTER 7, TWST JP AND CHAPTER 7 PART 3

Do not proceed if you don't wish to be spoiled

So in the recent/not so recent update on Chapter 7/Book 7 we got quite a lot of info dumped on us one of them being Malleus age, His Parent's and the war that was happening

In short summary the dream/timeline the diashakle group are in is about 500+ year's ago when a war happened between a human kingdom and Briar Valley

But surprised surprise! Malleona (Malleus Mother) has been taking care of her egg and guess again? That right Malleus in real time is only in his 100! I forgot what age princely but it's in 100's

So making the timeline not make sense at all (but then again Silver baby this is a dream after all)

We get confirmation that Malleona was a Princess and is Malleus Grandmother Maleficia's Daughter and only child

So here is the theory that starts it

As we all know and if you haven't read my Crowley is Malleus Father in order for a fea egg to Hatch it needs the live of both parents and magic to hatch

Lilia reveal that Malleus father (His name is Levan or Revan) had gone missing while going to attempt to get into an agreement with the Silver Owl People

Whom all messengers from them have gone also missing

After leaving Malleona to try and stop this war he himself went missing and never returned

This is why Lilia travels because he has hopes that he is alive as he was childhood friends with both and was taken in by Maleficia herself (basically like an adopted brother to Malleona)

So with that being said and Levan being missing, there is only so much Malleona can do other than give her half of her love as she can't fill in what Malleus father's part and use as much magic as she can

With that being said again you can't just hatch an egg with just pure Magic it's really hard to do that because the child needs to know that it's loved in order to hatch

So at some point during this war it seems that Mal's mother passes away AKA she gets murdered

With no one not even his parents being able to hatch him I can see that his kingdom lost all hope maybe even his grandmother lost all hope that their only hope and sole heir may never hatch

Now this were Lilia comes in

What if while all hope is lost Lilia makes on final sacrifice

One final attempt to bring hope back to his home, the home if his beloved friends the Queen that even tho6she had no need to take him in she did and now lost her only daughter

Like the say "You can have everything in life, Sacrifice's need 5o be made in order to achieve"

An eye for and eye

A leg for a leg

A tooth or a tooth

And life for another magic that gives life

(magic is like breathing to fea giving that up is like suicide)

And so he used all his magic to hatch Malleus and maybe potentially had to learn to love Mal to hatch him

But if he didn't let's say he did it with just magic

Then that would mean the oh so great general Lilia

Has made a miracle happen!

A pure miracle

It was a sacrifice but at what coast?

He surely doesn't regret it he is sure his beloved friend Malleona is happy

He is sure his beloved friend Levan is also happy even though deep in his heart he wants him to still be alive

And so that could also explain Malleus and Maleficia's attachment to Lilia

Maybe this just why he is someone Maleficia trust absolutely

Because he gave her a miracle when all hope was lost

While for Malleus is because Lilia literally raised him and hatched him

Imagine baby Malleus in his egg receiving all the love and magic from his parents only for literal 500 to pass without it and no birth suddenly magic comes in and you get out

You would expect to see the parents that took care of you for while you were in the egg only to be met with no one

No one but one man

That man being the one that give Malleus egg magic so he could hatch

Like I said maybe this is the reason Lilia lost his magic

He lost was is like breathing to him in order to bring a life to this world

And no matter what he doesn't regret it heck he would probably do it all over again if he could

🥀Silver Twin Theory🌟

Spoiler for Chapter 7 and Twst JP and spoiler's in general proceed with caution

-few notes I want to go threw

-the first things first you do not have to agree with this Theory nor do you have to like it if you don't like it or you just don't agree then that's just your opinion and your feelings I will respect that I will not tolerate any rudeness just because you don't like it

-second this was just me purely out of my brain rioting this was mostly done because I felt like it and because I liked it

-Third just enjoy, This really isn't hurting anyone I've already seen people on Twitter give me shit just because the don't like it

Ps I may or may not have added something because either I thought that they were either unimportant or did I just forgot so I might edit this later

Without further due let's get into it

So for starters we already are fully aware that this Silver's backstory is actually full of mystery so with that in mind I will start with what Silver and What Silver or Lilia have said about him, his childhood and origins

-Silver's Version-

Most of the information we have gotten on Silver and his childhood life was mostly either based on him saying it himself or lilia

Mostly what we have gotten from Silver from his childhood was that Lilia told him that he was in abandoned orphan and that he took him in when he was younger and basically raised him in an abandoned cottage

From that pretty much silver grew up (mostly implied) that he was raised and isolation despite coming from Briar valley

And that he pretty much never left his home unless to go to the forest or anything

And as far as what has been revealed is that instead of silver mostly going it was people instead of coming over to Silver's home by that would be Malleus, Sebek and His family

Other then that it seemed Silver never really got to talk to people outside of Lilia's personal circle

Silver also explains that in some parts of his childhood he was actually alone while Lilia would go traveling

He also mentions that Lilia always taught him to be like a prince to be kind to people and that fighting is never an answer

She also mentioned that on a special day when he found out that he wasn't Lilia's actual son that he ran away from home and Lilia went looking for him and I pretty much showed him just how much devastated silver was to find that out that he wasn't even the person that he believed was his parents child

-Lilia's Version-

Lilia's version of pretty much how raising silver was it's pretty much the same as just silver himself but other than that here's something I want to say and I want people to think about it real good

Obviously silver told us that Lilia raised him and all the things that he was told about himself that he was an orphan that he was abandoned yada yada yada that he was raised by Lilia himself

But here's the thing I want people to think about that is what silver was told by Lilia that's what Lilia told silver but for all you know that could be a lie he could be lying to him about his true origins either for the sake of protecting him for the sake of a mission

And for people who are about to say oh no there's no way Lilia would do that to Silver he loves silver as his own son oh please you act like he probably at the beginning it wasn't a mission and that he later on how to change of heart because he grew to love Silver

So again I'm going to repeat what I just said from the beginning this is what Lilia told silver what he told him for all we know it could have been a lie or maybe there is some truth and then maybe there is some lies into it

And then here is what I'm also going to say even though Lilia and may love silver now remember that Lilia wants hated humans or seem to dislike them in a sort of way so for all we know that could have literally baby crib snatched him from his family as an act of Revenge for what's potentially happening in chapter 7 AKA what happened in the past

-Twin Theory-

Again I mentioned above that there is some things I'm probably not going to mention because I'm either saving them up for a different post or I plan to add them on later when I can word them better

My theory starts with the small fact that obviously silver seems to instead of just being based on the sword itself that he is a mixture of Aurora ,The sword and the spinning wheel

And basically just been hinted since like the very beginning that he may be a prince

So let's just say this is actually true he is royalty and something did happen to get him to be where he was today

So here's something I'm going to mention if you guys remember in the Original sleeping Beauty by that I mean like the original original book you will know that Aurora ended up having twins in her sleep whom she named Sol and Luna translation is Sun and Moon

So then let's just imagine this what if if silver had a twin silver would be the moon because obviously his hair and his Aurora eyes while the other twin would be the sun blonde hair like Aurora

Which could lead Silver to find or meet his birth family?

I love this thought because it could have either been possibly an older sibling or an actual twin before he was taken

And this is actually very good potential for Angst and more info on chapter 7

So if twins but not identical twins but like Aurora twins

Sol/Sun= Silver's Twin, Blonde or Brown(like the sun) hair with the same eyes as Silver and is based off Princess Aurora

Luna/Moon= Silver, Silver hair(like the moon) and Aurora eyes and is based off Briar Rose

And he was probably the younger twin or maybe the older twin I mean if the reason they took him it might be because he was older twin and maybe he was the heir to the throne and then that also makes me to believe because he has so many similarities to her that when I was Researching to make more theories I remembered that on the original Aurora had twins and she names them basically Sun and Moon so I thought what if silver had a twin and that's why they both have these aspects and instead of being Aurora he's actually Briar Rose and his other brother is Princess Aurora

maybe that's what he couldn't go and maybe every time he tried to approach silver Lilia was somehow like distract him or take them away so that he couldn't actually approach him I feel like it it's a bit farfetch but let's be real about it he was a guard for the Royal family of Malleus potentially the enemy of Silver's Family

then I also had a thought that what if this brother silver does know that he was taken when he was young and maybe he does know that he goes to night Raven college but because you know how they you're not allowed on campus unless we're special events and stuff? Yea maybe he tried or maybe his parents saw him as VDC on TV or something and wanted to see whether or not the child that looks exactly like the child they lost is Silver

And maybe they talked to Crowley to get to meet him and maybe that's one of the reason's why Lilia was leaving other then losing his magic (talk about that in a different post once made)

Maybe He thought it was time to let go or he didn't want to be found out the man that "stole/kidnapped" the lost prince of another kingdom

Not quite a theory, just a mere observation I made…

With Lilia leaving NRC for good to take his long awaited retirement in a far off land he leaves one last gift for Silver, a ring of a crown. The very crown Flora gave to Aurora before departing.

“One last gift dear child, the symbol of thy royalty. A crown to wear in grace and beauty, as is thy right and royal duty…”

What if this is symbolizing how the three fairies leave Aurora? Lilia leaving the child he raised as his own away in the woods within an old (formerly abandoned) cottage.

Flora gave Aurora a crown, and Lilia gave Silver the ring he had around him as a babe, a ring in the shape of Aurora’s crown… perhaps that ring is indeed a symbol of thy royalty.
