ᴍɪᴄʜᴀᴇʟ:
Michael remembered very little of his life before. He knew his name, Michael Corvin, that he had a degree in medicine… and that he wasn’t human. He had woken in the middle of an abandoned warehouse, hanging by his feet and a nasty scar on his neck. He didn’t know what was going on until he was consumed by the hunger, killing the nearest animal and draining it of his blood. From there, his name came back to him, and he figured that he was a doctor when he was injured and easily patched up his own injury with knowledge of the medical terminology.
He quickly got work at a hospital, hoping that some of his life would return to him, but he knew that it wasn’t the case. He tried to remember, but ended up just living his life day to day. He didn’t care much to know, at least at the time, and figured that if he was meant to remember, something would happen and he would be given a sign to remember.
He noticed the young girl slipping through the hospital, and he couldn’t help but follow her. He quickly picked up on where she was going and realized that she must not be human either. He waited until she went into the storage room and then followed her, making sure the door closed behind him. “What are you doing here?”
Eve had been too focused on her goal to notice anyone following her, far too used to being able to slip under the radar of adults to think to double check if she was being followed. Lycans hadn’t caught her in some time, it had made her become a little lax. Mother would have yelled at her, had she known.
The girl jumped in surprise and whirled around, eyes turning to hybrid black with the blue iris unique to only her for a moment before she quickly controlled herself. Hiding a body in a hospital would be...messy and difficult. She’d have to run again. She looked the man over, and decided to try to relax. He didn’t seem mean, even if the scar on his neck was scary.
“I’m only taking a few bags...just enough for a couple of days. I need to find my mother, can’t do that if I’m hungry. And I don’t want to attack humans. What are you doing following a little girl?”Eve might look and sound like a child, but all those years in antigen labs had prevented her from ever being one. And he had a coat on like the other doctors...and she didn’t like them very much.
“I don’t want to hurt you mister.”
