Kinda fucked that Wake had a baby for the sole purpose of killing it to cause an apocalypse but that baby turned out to look almost exactly like her and from a lot of accounts have a personality similar to her.

the real unanswered question of gideon the ninth is why the HELL are there ten labs if the megatheorem is famously the EIGHTfold word??

potential answers for the two bonus labs:

john and alecto shared one, the other was all-purpose

john and alecto got separate labs during the divorce

john was too optimistic about the number of friends he’d have at canaan house

they WOULD have been harrow’s and ianthe’s, if they’d gotten that far

miscommunication with the canaan house contractor

imagined but unrealized expansion into bowling alley and movie theater

backup labs in case of imminent localized explosion/fire/etc

destroyed labs from past localized explosion/fire/etc.
