Pidge runs a blog about the superheros and hopes one day to find out their identities. Not knowing her best friend Keith is one of the pair.

Monthly Challenge Update

Hey all! Just a quick update on this and next months challenge. Due to real life chaos and general lack of participation, this month will be combined with next month and posted together.

The same rules apply from this months into next months. Next months theme will be fire and so the posted collection will be the water and fire fics.

If you are interested in joining this months challenge, please read the prev. post as it will contain the general rules if you are unfamiliar with them or the challenge. You don’t have to have a water themed fic to be included in the collection.

Fire theme guidelines: theme: fire minimum words: 1000 maximum words: none dates: Begin May 19 | End June 18 | Beta from June 19 - 22 (you may request a beta from our network by sending us a message) | Due June 23 type: any media (fic, playlist, edit, art, etc)

TL;DR: The water theme fics will be posted with the fire themed fics of next months challenge

i have a question about genderswap or genderbending, what would be a better term? I heard presentationplay but that is a bit confusing to use.

hi anon, thank you for asking!

it’s not the term that we have a problem with, but the concept itself. for starters, “gender bending” implies that all characters are cis and that by “bending their gender” they would automatically also be cis. it leaves no room for trans people or characters.
