I like Sun Wukong but I think it would've been interesting if Mei had not brushed past her frustration of the fourth ring reveal as quickly as she did in the show. I'm not too upset about it though, I think s3 is the most fun season to watch, but It still would've been cool to see Mei's critique of Sun Wukong's behavior have a bigger impact on their dynamic and character arcs as a whole.

The quality of the anime adaption was actually very surprising to me. I mean yeah, honestly, I would probably still enjoy it just for the experience of seeing it animated, but I think Bug films really did it justice. I genuinely did not think it could be adapted well in an animated format because of how detailed the manga is, but I'm very happy with how everything turned out. Fantasy enjoyers stay winning
