It does make me think of something similar going on with other ships like sonic x cream, adora x frosta and others. Where the that one character (in this case Sonic and Adora) is developing feelings for the other (cream and frosta) which they know it's wrong, Even while they are indulging in those feelings, and than after some time, they feel very happy with them and depending on the situation, they may still be afraid of being discovered or glad others accept it and even join in on the fun.

oh yeah. as I was saying, the topic's just like. a narratively juicy one; it's a morally wrong situation where one character would, presumably, have the morals to endure it, and yet can't seem to find it in themself to resist, and that makes it, at least from a writing standpoint, quite interesting to write if you have the right mix of characters, temptation and taboo, especially when their canon dynamics can be lent to the situation - Frankie actually catching feelings for Mac after being with him for so long, for example

and it doesn't just have to be age gap stuff - cheating isn't something I'm all that fond of in my smut, by and large, but it's certainly interesting to try and put a character in a situation where they'd be vulnerable to such a thing; likewise with more incestuous pairs, it'll always be fun just writing such things as simple and forward, like Lincoln being the stud for every gal in the Loud House, but discerning a reason as to why Camila might fall for Luz (or vice versa) is always a bit engaging, too

With these ideas and prompts involving ships where there are age gaps, i do like the acknowledgment where the characters do know what they are doing is wrong or questionable. It adds the forbidden and secrets aspect more as well a bit of drama in terms of story and characters as It avoids it being the type of thing where everyone is ok with that sort of stuff, at least at the start.

oh for sure. I think part of what's made Asriel Deltarune so interesting to me is that, at least for now, he seems to be the most like, morally upright character in the whole cast (funny because he's not even in the game yet), which means putting him in situations with Dess, Noelle and especially Kris is all the more fun; pushing at his morals, tearing him up and making him break, it's kinda more narratively interesting to me than it is horny, as it were

there's fun to be had in working with the opposite too, of course, characters who do bad just because they want to - Dess is a great example of this to keep with the Deltarune theme here lol - and having the point of view be from like, the other character's eyes; how does Kris feel when Dess encroaches on them? are they nervous, upset, into it? there's a lot there, too, that's kinda....juciy, as it were, from a narrative standpoint

but just as well, having one of those involved realize how wrong it is is quite compelling, and is often what intrigues me with such pairs (unless it's one'a those "They just look hot fucking" pairs that shut off my brain, lol)
