Yesterday I finished watching FMA for the first time and yes it’s 2018 so I’m super late but I love one (1) man I’m sorry for this

so when i was approx 11 yrs old, i was deeply in love with L from death note. my friends actively discouraged me from this but my love was true and unstoppable.

so when it came time to decorate my binder for sixth grade, naturally i immediately printed out the best graphic of L i could find to slide right in the front. unfortunately, as i mentioned, my friends thought this was dumb as hell. so, embarrassed after several hours of merciless mocking, once i got home i crumpled up and threw the picture away in the trash

several days later i came home again and what do i see on my desk? that picture itself, flattened and framed. my stepmom had found him and said “hes cute! protect him.” and how could i say no to that

anyway im telling you all this story bc i found him again just now

I hope that when the next yoi seiyuu event happens (I’m saying “when” not “if” because yoi’s gonna have like at least one more seiyuu event because a) it’s a large franchise, and b) it has a movie in the works) Hosoya will be there because western yoi fans deserve to learn how sweet and awkward of a person Otabek’s VA truly is.

Why did nobody in Fullmetal Alchemist carry around some fucking backup transmutation circles. Like Riza is there with a box full of fresh gloves for Roy when he gets soaked but you’d think after the first time he got rendered useless in a fight by some dude with a water bottle he’d start carrying around a spare set in a waxed bag or something but NOOOOO. And Ed’s even fucking worse like his arm gets destroyed how many times???? AND HE ACTS SURPRISED EVERY TIME. OH NO MY ARM. NOW I CAN’T ALCHEMY. Shit, boy, draw some transmutation circles ahead of time and keep em in your coat, this isn’t hard. “Oh no, you’ve destroyed my arm again, whatever shall I SIKE” Ed says, before throwing a rock with ‘explode’ written on it at his attacker and making good his escape. Everyone’s always carving shit into their skin or drawing it in their own blood, HOW BOUT INSTEAD YOU CARRY A PIECE OF FUCKING CHALK. Alchemists are useless

Matsuda is the bravest and most pure-hearted character in death note:

While most other characters are morally grey, he is convicted to his just morals, unwilling to even infringe upon basic human rights by voicing against the imprisonment of Misa, Light, and Soichiro

He narrowed down the list of Yotsuba arc suspects to only 8

While the others worked on the defensive, Matsuda was the only task force member brave enough to go directly to Yotsuba headquarters

He kept his head up even though the other task force members constantly put him down

He volunteered himself as bait to catch Higuchi

He shot the death note out of the mafia member's hand

He volunteered to do the eye trade to get Mello's real name

He saved Near's life in the final moments of the warehouse standoff

The only sign of genuine grief shown (other than from Misora over the death of her fiancé) was from Matsuda over the betrayal of Light to his own father

(Manga) He was the only one able to figure out that Near used the death note to manipulate Mikami and win
